Yes, when the trunk I is open the touch screen AND the app flashes between Open and close (about once per second) when the touch screen is flashing open you can’t do anything, however once it flashes close you hit it and it closes the trunk.

Not yet @bondo, it was too cold in my area to tackle it this weekend. When the trunk is close I cant see the gap in the bumper but its still bugging the hell out of me and I wanna get it back to normal ASAP.

Im on IOS 13b (beta) for the last few months on a iPhone 11xs. Initially after installing the beta I had a problem where I would have to restart the Tesla app to get into the car but sometime in July Tesla updated the app and its worked fantastic so far even on the iOS beta.

Haven't happened to me personally but one of the M3 owners I follow on youtube had this happened and he simply hard-rebooted the car (press and hold steering wheel nipples while pushing the brake pedal) and everything came back to life. Computers....o_O

In my neck of the woods (Long Island, NY) , my SC is about 15 miles away and whenever I book an appointment they automatically fill it as a mobile appointment. In my 1+ year of owning the M3 I've never actually had to bring it in to the SC.
