Just came across this picture. Is this legit?

I see it now. I guess it has been changed. Haven't visited the Tesla website in a while so missed the updated info. Tesla needs to upgrade the brakes to reflect the performance of the car.

The website now reads"Higher thermal capability brake pads" rather than calipers under the Plaid upgrades. I was hoping for larger calipers and upgraded rear fixed four piston calipers.

The screen always displayed like it was with the original lights. So it doesn't know it has the new lights. It doesn't indicate like the new Model Y lights with separate brake/turn signal lights.

Price drop $48,500 or OBO.

I am in the same position with a 2014 P85D with 55k miles. I had a leaking MCU a week after the eMMC recall was perform and 2 weeks after my warranty expired. I upgraded to MCU 2. It now receives periodic software updates. I am on the fence of letting it go and getting a new one.

The day after I last posted on 6/28, I got a call from my service center that my MCU2 came in. Got it upgraded. Other than no radio, everything is better. Started getting software updates again.

According to the EPC, the part number to the knuckles appears to be the same for pre 2017 models and up to the Raven. The parking brake connections definitely different and need to be modified to use the separate caliper for parking brakes.

My MCU started leaking right after they did the eMMC recall in April, of course 2 weeks after my warranty expired. I have since been waiting on my MCU2 part order since then. They told me ETA sometime in August. In the mean time, my MCU continue to leak all over.

I have done a few BMS Calibration without any success. How low and how high of SOC would you recommend? 10-100? I have read some threads going as low as possible and some recommending 20% is enough. Also if I charge to 100%, is it ok to let it sleep for 4-5 hours in full charge?

Some of the Plaid cars at the Nurburgring had large ceramic brakes with massive calipers. Too bad Tesla won't put that in the production cars. Slididng calipers in the rear on such a fast car is just unacceptable.

Thank you @Flick75 and @Brents. I will try that. @Flick75 I think you can use your solar prior to HECO approval. I don't think they would know, esp if you turn your breaker off from the grid and go back up mode. The only they might notice is your usage goes way down, LOL.
