What happened to the 80amp charger?

I wanted to get a second Tesla 80 amp wall charger. I see it is no longer available. What happened? Typical advances usually means that things get stronger, faster and more powerful. With the availability of 400 amp home feeds, having the latest chargers exceed 100 amps wouldn’t have surprised...

Did anyone install the home charger by yourself?

I did but it was in 2013. I used #1 gauge wire and a 100AMP circuit breaker. The distance was about 16 feet or so. Literally one car width from the panel, but I had to go up the side of the garage, over the door, and back down to the panel.

A set of new (to the car) tires, but TPMS can't detect them

I do have my old tires, and was wondering what to do with them and the rims. How much should I expect to pay to get the tire sensors swapped out of them? I understand that those sensors may have batteries that are getting rather old. Can they be replaced with new batteries or shall I get new...

A set of new (to the car) tires, but TPMS can't detect them

HI. I bought a set of original Tesla Model S tires for my 2013 Model S. The seller had upgraded wheels and tires, and he had taken out the set and placed them aside for some time. A/C Compressor finally failed. But $3400??!

2013 also. Turned out that the compressor was OK, and they only had to replace the DC/DC convertor. Now, the compressor does not seem to cycle on and off multiple times a minute like it did before.

A/C Compressor finally failed. But $3400??!

But is it supposed to cost this much? Research on the net shows compressors at $100-300.

A/C Compressor finally failed. But $3400??!

Its a 2013 and ~70K miles. The first time we complained was in 2015. Last time we complained was last year.

A/C Compressor finally failed. But $3400??!

For years we have been complaining that our A/C has been making way too much noise, especially the little thump that it makes when it cycles on and off, almost once a minute. So now the A/C has finally died. Tesla service wants $3400 to replace the compressor and a DC converter. I don't...
