Defective battery, Rude Service Center - Lemon Law time

I don’t understand why this is so confusing. Tesla states “unlimited mile battery” but then says they won’t cover degradation from usage. Fine, but then I would demand to know what the differentiation is between degradation and failure and I would not accept arbitration decisions on a case by...

Model 3 Accident, Is this car really safe to drive?

You will get the credit for the car you bought. Regardless if you get a new one now or not, the insurance company will keep the rebate on the new car.

Model 3 Accident, Is this car really safe to drive?

First, airbags only deploy between certain speeds. If you are traveling too fast they can’t deploy before your face would enter the explosion zone, and likely kill you. Second, airbags require 2+ crumple sensors to deploy. Hitting a pole is usually not an event that will deploy the airbags...

Auto steer Not ready for prime time

That’s really strange. Your experience with auto-steer and auto-lane change is completely different than mine. I drive in Phoenix, and do about 100 miles in an average day, mostly on the freeway. I find the newer version, since V9, of the auto lane change works very reliably, and almost never...

Navigate on Autopilot is Useless (2018.42.3)

You’re either a liar, short seller etc, or have seriously damaged hardware. Not one of the instances you described happened to me in 500+ miles of driving with these features. The only gripe I have is the need to confirm lane changes. That said, it routinely asked me to change lanes when a car...

    2018.28.1

The numbers have meaning. The 28 is not a revision, it is the week of the year it was released. The .1 indicates it is the second update of this release. If it were released a few weeks ago it could have been 2018.26.4, but because it’s not week 26, it needs a new number. If they tweaked the...

M3 Tear Down by Munro & Associates. Pictures By Motor Trend

I have checked all the panels and fit on my April 2018 model 3, and they are actually better fit than my neighbors 2017 BMW M3. I used a calibrated micrometer to make the measurements. Safe to say, both cars were built exceptionally well. Also, I am okay with my car having a couple hundred...

    App Connection down?

Good thing that is a Bluetooth feature, not a network feature. So, yes, thank god!

    App Connection down?

I have a model 3, and my phone is my key, using the app. It doesn’t matter that the network is down for maintenance I am still able to unlock and drive the car, since that feature uses Bluetooth via my phone. So, all the concerns for M3 and invalid.
