Agreed, the fob feels more elegant at times. Thus far though I haven’t had an issue with phone key. It’s much improved over my 2018 model 3 that I no longer own. But I didn’t have many problems with my 3 either regarding phone key.

Rented a Turo plaid X, mostly to see the white seats in person. They look really nice but I still have pause about my order. Especially since the Turo (lender?) pointed out a previous renter already stained the white seat in the back. Looks like he tried to get it out but couldn’t.

Anyone tried it here? They advertise everywhere online. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos about their other products and figured I’d give their interior cleaner a shot on the white seats. In the past I’ve only used Amazon baby wipes to clean them as other owners have suggested.

I think the latest update to the model 3 (the one with autopilot and regeneration update) has the software needed to make the model 3 keyfobs work.

The trick to getting phone key to work reliably on android for me is to have the app running in background. Even then it's not 100% reliable. But when phone key works it is awesome. Like living in the future .
