Still not able to use it with the model 3 12v battery though. Whole setup with the magic battery is pretty expensive. Anyone know of an alternative? I'm looking for one too but mainly just one with decent parking mode (motion detected recording?).

Yea, surprisingly super fast response from DS via email which makes me wonder if they're even getting any order so hopefully it'll be early June. I guess our savings are from the low tax and we don't have to pay a 3% luxury car tax haha

About to do the order on the website for the 3. What's the procedure for financing? and when do they require the down payment? I see it says it will charge a ~$3000 non refundable deposit but what about the down payment?
