Maybe the lease returns are put in the service loaner rental fleet, where they are marred due to abuse by people who have no respect or value for something that does not belong to them. I've seen threads by some customers who were given rental loaners that are being sold as CPO cars at that time...

The loaner program might be the reason so many of the CPO cars are in such bad shape. I can't imagine a large percentage of people who own or lease a Tesla keeping their cars in such bad shape as some of the CPO cars we have seen.

And I don't think we have seen yet the full capabilities of Model 3 charging with the next Supercharger version about to come online. I bet the next Supercharger version will also come online with self plugging so you don;t even need to get out of the car.

I really don't think you need to be worried much beyond a NEMA 14-50 outlet for home use. Unless you have a habit of coming home for a couple of hours and constantly go on trips for hundreds of miles the NEMA 14-50 will handle your charging needs just fine. We always "wake up to a full tank."
