I hope you both get it solved soon. I found living without the LTE a pain in the butt. Didn’t realize how much I missed it.

Well apparently all it took was a deep sleep and boot of the car to make LTE come back after the change of the board etc. So I’m back on the air. must commend Tesla on their touch less service capabilities. Really well done.

Mine was in for service last night. Picked it up today. They did the reflash and replaced the modem. When i got there it still wasn’t working. So it went back in. Waiting to hear on it. What a weird issue.

Still no resolution for me. Going into the service centre on Thursday for a rear window seal that has half separated around the trunk (passenger side) so I will get them to look at this LTE problem as well. Believe it or not but the fix for the rear window seal is to replace the whole glass...

I have the exact same scenario. One of the first 30K vins. Premium connectivity for the vehicle. many many resets. Nothing. Wifi works great though.

I had a problem where the vehicle wouldn't connect thru the app. I could unlock etc fine. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app solved it fine. Stats was attaching to the car fine.

In one of these messages there is a reference to $1800 - removal, disassembly, powder coat, new seals, reassembly and install. Yikes!

I found chill mode helped on the really snowy days. I didn’t really like it - but I found it useful in that weather. One great thing about the battery fix is everything just unplugs to get to it super easy.

Just turned it off and punched it... instant smiles. Actually shocked at the instantaneous smack. I continue to love this car. (Side note - just hit 10K on the odo. My worst issue with the car has been a loose terminal connection on the 12V battery. Bring a 10mm wrench with you)

Same issue with me today - phone unlocked car - everything normal but stuck in park. Only time it’s happened to me. A hard reboot (with brake pedal) restored normal operations. Also on 50.6.

I was heading into work the other day on the QEW into downtown Toronto. Looked in my side mirror when i saw flickering lights. Knew it was another Model 3 on 50.6. lol

Finally got my check on Friday. I never received any prior “it’s coming email” - wondering if those were only sent to people who had the direct deposit option checked. I did not. Stats Submitted June 7 - mere hours after getting the car Check received - January 24th Salvation!

Happy to say the Model 3 handled it like a champ! The good stuff No problems unplugging from my outside wall charger. I did have to be careful with cleaning ice around the handle and the door however. No problems with frozen windows getting stuck. No problems with door handles being unable to...

Any trouble with wind noise on the replacement? Is it Tesla glass or another brand? Hope it is perfect.

I received an email from the Ombudsman’s office as well (Richard). I gave him the info he asked for. Hopefully it helps push it along. Thanks to all here for the tip to submit the complaint.

Got my charger rebate now as well. I think it happened a number of days ago but somehow ... it got misplaced.

All good advice (and @McFlurri ) and duly noted. Not something I would normally do - I was betting on the other teslas on either side of me not harming mine. Thankfully neither car had moved when I had come out. Happy holidays!

I actually finally got to use Summon in a real world situation! Was trying to get into a super tight parking spot outside Tesla at Sherway. Got the car lined up - got out - and summoned it right in. Did the opposite on the way out. It was really neat and glad I had it.

Mississauga SC has been kind to me as well. They don't have the fanciest location - but the peeps there are well meaning and work hard IMHO.

The Sottozero 3's worked nicely in the GTA snow today. Grippy and smooth. So glad I got them.

I had ordered at the same time as you. Here - the contracted installer is having trouble with stock and availability. They sent out a long note detailing the issues earlier in the week. I talked with my local SC and they helped out by getting the tire set and installing them for me.

I got my 19” package for the model 3 installed yesterday. Looks rugged and great. I hope they do solid work in the winter.

That's great! I got the email last night as well - for my location there is nothing available to install for 3 months. Decidedly not great!

I had the same call last Thursday (I think) - but no email with the sign-up process. I couldn't even get them to call me back today.

I ordered mine one month ago - I have heard nothing other than 1) being charged and 2) receiving an order communication. I really hope they get here soon. I can only imagine the people just getting their cars now waiting even longer.

Still happy about this new release, but a lot of the air went out of the excitement balloon hearing this. Lack of Summon was one thing... but this sort of stuff is central to the experience we were sold on.

I ended up ordering the Tesla 19" package. In the winter I think I will get my summers powdercoated in either gloss black or that darker tesla like silver for summer. With the flood of M3's coming this month I thought it was best to get this order in now.

I saw a trailer load heading east on the 401 at Woodstock on Sunday right near the supercharger. I'll admit it... I waved.

@Birdman325 and @5_+JqckQttqck - Thanks for the 7C rating info - and I agree it doesn't sound optimum - but I see mixed reviews all over other car forums. Truly wish they had another option. I'd prefer just to go with the Tesla rim and tire package. More research required! :-)

So just how bad are these pirelli sottozero 3 tires going to be in the GTA? If it's going to be a really brutal day, I doubt I'd even go out. Are these garbage for our winter?

I got mine today and put them in. Fit was really great on drivers side and rear seats. I especially love the coverage in the back. The passenger footwell has been a disappointment though. I will let them settle overnight but I have bunching along the side and can't quite get it to lock into...

Yup - I understand. I haven't seen the noted behaviour. The representation generally seems accurate to the traffic conditions I am experiencing. I will however keep a close eye on it to see if it does transpire. Thanks for the clarification and info.

As @Darthbenji said above... all the CHUM HD channels in Toronto disappeared again (at least when I checked a couple days ago). I hope that they can regionalize our SIMs. In the grand scheme - certainly a small issue... but it would be nice to have TSN 1050 available since we don't have a basic...

I haven't noticed this in my 3. I usually use the navigation almost all the time (mostly for arrival time, with voice muted)... and I've had it update the route along the way to respond to traffic.

Parts Catalog showed shipping in 2-3 days for the maxpiders so I ordered them from there. Cancelled my amazon order... then sent an update with no potential ship date. Hopefully I get a shipping notice from PC soon.

I haven't seen anything yet - but I'm hopeful! Thanks for the update.
