How did you convince the service center/Tesla to listen to you and fix the problem?

My '18 75D has this issue, the SC tech confirmed it, said it was a known problem, that he could fix it but it would only last a year. I filed a complaint and now the service schedulers are trying to charge me for this issue. Ridiculous service for a $90,000 vehicle!

I received the same email regarding my order... and here is the photo they sent me. I also am wondering how significant of a change this is...
