New EPA Ranges impacting late 2023 Orders?

Same thing happened to me, except I can't even find a way to modify my order.

20mm is probably fine. I would have no problems running that.

Performance model y stud and pocket

I feel like 25s were a bit much for me but everyone has their different tolerances. I'm running a good amount of camber in the back...I think like 1.9 so that'll make a difference too. I have rally armor mud flaps and rear door ppf so not particularly worried. I also live in socal with near...

Performance model y stud and pocket

Nothing too exciting. Drives more or less the same. Looks better. Supposed increased wear on wheel bearing. The usual stuff. No regrets.

I haven't had any issues to note so I assume yes. I do have ppf on front of the rear wheels as I'm a bit paranoid.

I just put 18mm spacers front and back to stock ubers. Slight poke in the back but nothing to write home about. Pretty happy with the look

    MYP Offset question

There's no super easy way to answer this question. Unfortunately there is some variance to tesla's fitment and depends on your camber specs. Best way to do it is to measure it on your car. Take a plumb bob next to your fenders and measure the distance. Subtract those numbers from the stock myp...

    Unplugged Performance Luxury Coilover Suspension

Since what unplugged did help for at least a while, maybe ask them what they did? I personally would never go back to the dealer (any make) for an after market part.

That's kinda the reason I went with more flexible flaps. I scrape the rears coming out of my driveway every day and still no issues other than some wear at the very bottom.

Performance model y stud and pocket

I know some guys are running spacers but didn't have good objective data. Some say 15mm can run without issue while others say studs run into pockets. I contacted the spacer company and couldn't get a clear answer. So! I got off my butt and just took the measurements myself. These are the 21in...

Are you lowered already? Gap already looks really good. I don't think the back looks too much poke at all. Does it actually go past the fenders?
  25. V

    Best Aggressive Wheel Offsets?

Lol I don't think @Dr.Will sleeps. You'll be 10mm more sunken in than his setup. Compared to stock performance you'll be 6mm out in the front and 2mm in the rear.
  26. V

    Best Aggressive Wheel Offsets?

Any more pics to show how much poke you have on the +16 9.5s? How come you went lower offsets on the front but not back vs the AGs?

    MountainPass Performance Comfort Coilovers

So I've been playing with my suspension settings gradually going stiffer. Currently at 11/10 in the front and 10/8 in the back. About 1.5 camber front 1.9 rear. I went canyon carving this weekend with a bunch of buddies up at angles crest -- mostly race prepped ice cars. Obviously not remotely...

    MountainPass Performance Comfort Coilovers

The reason for hub to fender instead of ground to fender is that if you run different sized wheels/tires it will affect ground to fender but not hub to fender. To make it apples to apples regarding suspension only, it will eliminate one variable. The is is particularly important when you're...

    Best Aggressive Wheel Offsets?

    Compared to dr.will, on 10.5 square with +28 you'll be 8.3mm more poke/outbound. +35 will be 1.3mm more poke.

    Best Aggressive Wheel Offsets?

I feel like people who contribute should also list tire specs as that can make a huge difference in both look of aggressiveness and fitment dictating whether a setup will rub.
  31. V

Which of these expensive mods would you buy first?

By the books yes. But Tesla has to prove that the suspension change caused whatever happened if you need to use your warranty. I'd say the chances of failure should be pretty low, especially if you go with reputable companies and installers. I think it's bc acceleration boost is easy. Like...a...

Which of these expensive mods would you buy first?

Check out the mpp coilovers thread. May be a little biased (including me) but there's really not a single complaint in there.

Lol lifetime and 2 years is really different.... Did they elaborate on anything?
  34. V

Which of these expensive mods would you buy first?

Mpp coilovers are definitely my favorite mod but hands down ppf first. I'd rather sacrifice ride comfort and looks for a little while for pristine paint. Little point is protecting your paint once it's chipped and pitted even if you have coilovers.

Front doors not flush with back doors (every Y on the lot).

I believe it's by design. The alignment shouldn't be too off it supposedly it is more aerodynamic and also happens to decrease leading edge rock chips on the back doors.

Xpel XR Prime Plus vs Spectra Photosync

The roof still has ir rejection. They just changed the design/tech. My 3 used to have the red glow but then had to be changed bc of damage. New one didn't have the glow but still had similar heat rejection.

@Dr.Will that looks clean af with the te's. I personally experienced little settling. Maybe a couple mm at most. Ride stayed as good as the day it was Installed.
  39. V

    MountainPass Performance Comfort Coilovers

They swaying is probably because of the soft compression setting at 14. If you want to correct it you can just stiffen than up by a click or two.

Vendor Show Off Your Aftermarket Model Y Wheels

Has anyone actually put spacers on stock ubers? I was looking at old threads on it and only one person that put 15mm in the front but the wheel hit the stock studs and had poke in the back running 20mm.

    DC to Cali Trip

My big question is what are your doing with those nice winter wheels? You know...since winter doesn't really exist in irvine.
  42. V

    MountainPass Performance Comfort Coilovers

I think the rear is the limiting factor. At 385 you're already almost running out of threads. My guess is 380 is the lowest you can go. Front has a lot more threads to spare.

    22x10.5 and 285-30-22 ? will it fit?

From calculating from my own car, it seems like +31ish is about flush in the back with 10.5s. I think a lot of people prefer a little tuck over poke. The +42 is still 6mm outbound from stock performance setup.

@Wreckz Um...might want to work on your blacking out skills....
  45. V

Vendor Show Off Your Aftermarket Model Y Wheels

You would need 16mm in the front and 6 In the back to get the same specs, though I think overall your rear wheels would still be more tucked than the front. I'd probably go something like 10 in the rear but that would involve getting longer studs.

  47. V

Define work.... Yes they should fit without hitting anything. Front will look like the nonperformance fronts, rear will look like performance rears as far as tucking/offset goes.

I have 20% crystalline on my fronts. Would not really recommend it. Much more brown and pretty significant low angle haze.
