Yes please can someone measure their screen? I am building something which has nothing to do with the cars, and a screen-protector for the 17" screen may work well but I too need to know the precise dimensions. In mm if you can. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice. I made an appointment for a mobile tech and, of course, the noise disappeared completely before the appoint came around. He said he'd come check it anyway, make sure all was well and the car was safe. Very nice guy. If the noise returns I'll call them again. Cheers.

Looks like vandalism. When the door is obstructed, it reopens. I noticed it with mine when using the J1772 adapter. I unplugged the charger before removing the adapter from the car. The door tried to close, hit the adapter then reopened.
