I told myself I wouldn't do it, but I was FOMO'd. I doubt they'll get me HW3 in any reasonable time frame, but I was worried they would abandon the EAP branch with intermediate updates along the way regardless of whether it's a EAP feature or not.

If tesla can't even deliver a spoiler to me 6 months after taking delivery, with no ETA whatsoever, I have zero faith that they can deliver a more complicated HW3 upgrade in any reasonable timeframe.

Hear the same thing when coming to a complete stop with EAP on, sounds like some clicking in the steering column. I only ever notice it when it is dead silent so it doesn’t bother me too much. The tensioner rattle on the other hand is driving me nuts.

Agreed. It's been mentioned before, but 5k was just too much too soon. If this was 1-2k and people actually had the full package they already paid for with the spoiler I think response would have been very different. I'm happy to take the 5k refund and roll it right back into an [arguably]...

So they aren't capable of even providing the full performance package with the spoiler to people who bought it (myself included), and they have now dropped the price 5k, brutal.

Small sample size of a few days, but since I've been on 2018.40.1 I've had no issues where it used to happen almost daily. Hoping it keeps up.

My IDA has been unable to even get me an offer on my trade though they have had all the information for 2 weeks -- the trade in department is backed up I'm told. I'm supposed to take delivery next week, getting a little concerned at this point.

Yea my IDA is pretty useless at this point as well, definitely the most frustrating part of the process.
