Yeah I gave up on the auto wiper setting on both my M3 and new MX, it is useless...I just use the timer settings...I do wish they had a longer time setting though than their longest one, most cars give you a setting of more than like a second or two.

My X got .6 and my 3 got .5.1. My cameras on the 3 started blacking out in the update before this one though, had it into service and they reinstalled the firmware, said it works fine. Worked for about a day or two then started blacking out again. Haven’t driven with this new update yet but...

On the 3/Y you can rotate the image by swiping, on the X I assume it’s fixed view?

No it’s an MXP. Ordered 9/8, VIN on 11/24. Love it so far, the acceleration is insane!!! And I also love the color, was never huge on the gray but this stealth gray shows different in various lighting, it looks amazing. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow.

So after a lot of uncertainty and having to push my appointment out, and a long delay at Tesla, I finally picked up my car. It looks great, love the stealth grey (MXP , 20”, standard steering). Multiple updates installed already. Haven’t had a chance to take pictures as I got home after dark.

You can add the bank info in the app and have it ready, then pay with a single click once you’ve inspected and are satisfied with the vehicle.

When you say it counts as my 1 hold, you mean they will hold my VIN (i.e that car) for me until I am back? Or I have to wait for a new VIN and that's my only chance to do that, I have to take the next one? And in the second scenario, what if the car has major issues, you can't reject?

I remember reading earlier others saw a similar weird update where the date jumped like that but then got their VIN like pretty quickly after that.

Yeah it knocks me for aggressive turning a lot, whatever that means. And the collision warning is impossible to avoid in SF traffic, people cutting off all the time. And the after 10pm one is just dumb.

Actually the safety score is weird, I don’t think it cares how fast you go. If you drive in bumper to bumper traffic you’re far more likely to have a lower score than racing on an open freeway.

Why are vehicles available in the “Earlier pickup available” section priced at the post price hike for MXP? Why would anyone pick the early pickup option if they have to spend $5K more for the same car? It should be priced based on your order date for that config.

I'm not sure I follow, the VIN and the title will match, so if it is a 2024 VIN the title will also say 2024, and same for 2023. You can't have a 2023 title with a 2024 VIN.

I don't think it nicely latches on there in any way but I don't have mine yet so can't say if there is any elegant way to use it like this. But this would have been a great feature if it did work this way!

It's actually not that bad, if it detects an imminent accident it wouldn't hurt to blast the horn. Also, probably even easier to detect a distracted driver when the light turns green and give them a hoot.

Considering Tesla has a public API that can honk the horn, I doubt it would be very heard to build a large bluetooth button that just honks the horn, and stick it wherever you want.

Yup, you know one of those -- You order it because it's such an amazing deal, you get a VIN and realize you should probably tell your wife about the purchase before having to to go pick it up and pay, and then you have to cancel... Now should I tell my wife before I get my VIN...jk lol

Based on the 422 number it sounds like a pretty recent build, so I doubt it's a reject.

Yeah if you see my later posts I called in and switched it with no change in price. My local Tesla rep told me the price would go up to the new post price hike ($5k extra for Plaid), but when I called the main support number they did it no problem with my original price. Yeah it’s a website bug.

I switched from Black to SG also...mine did not change my dates, I have a 9/8 order date and latest EDD is same as others above for MXP, 11/5 - 12/10.
