The shopping site is wish.com It sells lots of stuff directly from China. Takes about a month to receive, cheap prices but heavy on shipping. They didn't offer the badge in black when I bought mine a few months ago, but they do now.

Have your SC do a diagnostic to see if it's the MCU and by all means have it replaced before being out of warranty. Would like to know if this is unique to MX or MS as well. Let us know how you make out.

Happened to me three times during a 1,000 mile trip in my 9-19 MX. Have not had any recent software updates, but visited 5 superchargers during the trip. Don't think that had anything to do with it, since it didn't happen in the other direction. First time was very scary at 70 MPH on I-95.

I installed one like that. It's a pain to open. It's a snug fit and finger hole is too small. Suggest the version with a pull knob.

Reinstalled the OEM struts and spring thinking that was the problem. No change. There's another thread on here that identifies a defective actuator. Since mine opens with fob, that's not the problem. Will have to bring it to SC or call mobile service after the holidays.

Excellent point. As a new owner, getting used to these high tech features (not using the fob) is a learning curve. When you get used to, and trust it, 'Walkaway' is the obvious choice.
