Just got my check today too. Colorado. Originally called on 10/27, then e-mailed on 11/6, when they were set up for e-mail requests. I confirmed that's what I wanted on 11/30 and got the "check will be mailed within 4 weeks" e-mail on 12/4. So, only two weeks after that to get it.

From what I've heard on this thread (and experienced myself), I'd go further and say they appear to do a stellar job.

Great to hear. That was my experience too. Reading too much TMC or Reddit gets you prepared for some sort of delivery horror show, but obviously it does go perfectly at least some (most?) of the time.

You might consider winter tires even on the 18". My plan for the first winter is to swap out to winter tires on the stock 20" wheels. Not a popular option compared to buying an alternate set of wheels, but by the next winter a year from now, there should be a lot more options for other wheels...

I've only had mine less than a week, but I still haven't gotten used to the restricted rear view. I'm used to a very clear rear view, so every lane change is a bit of a "hmmm" moment.

I'm kind of the opposite, and I have a P. If there's clear road ahead, OK it's on. But in traffic, I find it pretty easy to just chill out. I definitely don't tailgate, that's super uncool.

I also paid by ACH on site at delivery. Added maybe five minutes to the process. If they see it go through at tesla.com without an error, they move right on to the next steps.

Had the same experience picking mine up on Tuesday. Really, really happy with the delivery experience (and it doesn't hurt that I have yet to find a flaw in the car).

Just picked up my P3D+ in Littleton. Zero issues with the delivery. Have only driven it 25 minutes so far (headed directly to work), but WOW. So far it appears to be flawless.

FWIW, the time from the Edit button disappearing to scheduled delivery date for my P3D+ was 11 days.

Quick update on my delivery: Friday I got the "no Edit link" & credit application thing on the website. Just now got the "Your Model 3 is Ready" e-mail from one of the folks that work out of the Vegas office. Estimate of 1-2 weeks. Gettin' hyped.

It's tough to get a feel for how noticeable that would be in person from photos I guess. Kind of sounds like it's in that murky "it's not terrible, but not too great either" zone.

I'd like to see that. Maybe those are more obvious with white? I don't know if I'd notice something like that myself unless it was pretty bad. :D
