General Altimax RT43 Tires on Model Y LR?

Thanks! Any pictures of the ride, I would love to see that much tire without a lift as it probably looks good on the Model Y.

17” wheels on Model 3 possible?

I know this is an old thread, but certain 17s with brake clearance do fit the Model 3s without the Performance Upgrade Brakes (ie Factory Red Calipers). EZ Spare sells a 17" Compact Spare that clears: Tesla Spare Wheel - EZ Spare Wheel Here is another forum where someone fitted 17s: Increasing...

General Altimax RT43 Tires on Model Y LR?

The General's aren't bad, but for the same price, the Vredestein QuatracPros are rated much better. Just because they are better in the rain and snow does not mean they are worse in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness. If anything, they might even have a slight edge there as well. Michelin...

General Altimax RT43 Tires on Model Y LR?

I just saw you tried 235/65R18s. What were your wheel size and offset? I am assuming without a lift kit? Did you have any rubbing?

MPP Lift Kit Install Instructions, Range Discussion & Driving Impressions

I'm curious if anyone goes for 255/60R18s like this one quoted above. Or in my case 235/65R18s as I'm looking for some extra height and skinnier tread. Seeing many 245/60R18s, so curious if the slightly taller but skinnier approach will still clear without modifications or rubbing on an MPP Lift.

MPP Lift Kit Install Instructions, Range Discussion & Driving Impressions

Did you also go with 245/60R18s (29.6") or 235/65R18s (30"). I've seen some claim that 235/65R18s are fine because the narrower tire clears the upper knuckle. better. I really would love the 235/65R18s but I am curious where they might rub.

MPP Lift Kit Install Instructions, Range Discussion & Driving Impressions

I did see the link which sent me down my own little rabbit hole. This is what I gathered: 255/45R19 104XL on 19x9.5ET45 840kg/1850# Load Rating has the highest Load Capacity. 255/40R20 101XL on 20x9.5ET45 750kg/1650# Load Rating has the lowest Load Capacity. 275/35R21 103XL (rears) on...

MPP Lift Kit Install Instructions, Range Discussion & Driving Impressions

I am assuming the 750kg rating on 2021 AeroV2s is not enough for the 7pass TMY's with Tow Package with a GVWR of 5712 lb? Does anyone know what the minimum load rating for wheels is necessary for the 5712 GVWR?

MPP Lift Kit Install Instructions, Range Discussion & Driving Impressions

If you zoom in that looks like 255/60R18s. I wonder if 235/65R18s would give the same lift with an MPP Lift Kit and not rub if you choose an Offset closer to 30-35mm?

Interest in Wheels/Tires Designed for Range Increases of 8-13%?

https://teslike.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/mi6b.gif Based on the chart above, I don't know if aero covers would do as much on a 20". I think if Tesla offered 18", 19", and 20" Wheels and tires that cleared P3D+ and all other Tesla Model 3s would be the way to go. Let anyone get whatever...

Interest in Wheels/Tires Designed for Range Increases of 8-13%?

Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings for your car! | Motorsport Tech Is the vendor that has made these spacers. If I had access to a P3D+ (I'm in Philly) then I could test fit this ASAP. Otherwise, my recommendation is to meet up with a local TM3 owner and measure the difference. Many have...

Interest in Wheels/Tires Designed for Range Increases of 8-13%?

I need confirmation, but the 18" Aeros may only need spacers to have the calipers clear the spokes. I know on another FB thread, an owner did that. But he never provided information on the sized spacers, etc. And without proof of pictures, I can't confirm or deny. Hence my initial comment on if...

Interest in Wheels/Tires Designed for Range Increases of 8-13%?

Notice, the 215/50/18s are for winter use on a P3D+ where a dedicated winter tire is needed. If that is the case, the 235 is the compromise in winter weather. And an Infiniti G35x weights close to the same as a Tesla Model 3, and wears 215/55/17s from the factory. It's "load rating" the...

Interest in Wheels/Tires Designed for Range Increases of 8-13%?

I think a larger part of the aftermarket is chasing range over performance considering how much Tesla owners spend on the larger batteries. Most people spend thousands on the larger batteries that if other areas could achieve that, it should be worth exploring. Hence Unplugged Performance...

    Improving my P3D+ range

Came upon this thread. 1) 18" wheels do fit. Saw the mention about T Sportlines 18" wheels with the 3mm spacer. 2) Vredestein Quatrac5 are efficient and recommended over OEM Michelins 235/45/18s. See TR's page on them. 3) I'm trying to confirm if spacers were used, would the OEM 18" Aeros clear...
