My service center just told me I don’t get the red underline because I’m on a P3-. Is that the experience of other P3- owners? Seems strange that a performance car wouldn’t get it because that’s what it signifies.

Serious question: What would be the point of having more than three heat settings? Anyone ever accidentally tap one more than your desired setting? Imagine having 6 settings. That's like 12 taps if you miss the one you wanted! Multiple this by five seats. A slider bar would be annoying too.

I think you’d be ok if the VIN matched your MVPA but otherwise I feel like they’d eventually catch on and you’d have to return it. Now if you had the red underline in the software and no performance parts but ordered an AWD that’s a different story. That has happened to some people.

I’ve always received a response to my emails until now. I’ve sent two emails about the refund and haven’t gotten a response yet. Will try again in a couple days.

I was pretty sure it was never Elon’s decision to not include P3D- owners. Some Tesla admin made this stupid decision and I’m glad Elon found out about it and clarified.

This rumor started with a short seller. Surprise, surprise...it’s wrong. You just need to take delivery by dec 31.

I really think they’re waiting for Jan 1 to mail most of them out.

I have a P3D- I got 3.21 or something on the one time I tested it. I have TSportline 18” with pilot sport 4s though.

I really, really hope Tesla does the right thing and gives P3D- owners a free upgrade to PUP package when it comes out in exchange for the free supercharging.

I keep tweeting Tesla and Elon about refunds for P3D- and all I get are comments and retweets from short sellers. At least it helps go towards the top!

Honestly, I think as time goes on this thread will get buried and people will just give up. It’s a really poor move on Tesla’s part IMO but there’s nothing we can do outside of tweeting and emailing. The problem with that is there aren’t enough P3D- owners for them to care.

All I can say is that I’m glad I never quit. Albeit, it never really crossed my mind. I always tamed my expectations so that I was never extremely pissed off, just mildly disappointed. Plus, I literally have no other option. No other car excites me like a Tesla.

This has got to be one of the most selfish statements. You’re saying P3D+ owners should get $5k upgrades for free and P3D- should get those same upgrades for $2k or something. Do you value the PUP at $5k or not? If yes, then give P3D- $5k back or give them PUP for free since you’re the one...

Well, if you get the refund of $5k then you essentially paid $5-$6k for what appears to be a 1-1.4s acceleration software unlock. That’s a good deal considering it was $10-$11k for that before, but I’d much rather not get refunded and get the PUP retrofitted onto the vehicle. Unfortunately, I...

Sorry, you get no sympathy from me when you took a car from someone else for the sole purpose of scalping on eBay to make $75. If you need the $75 that bad then maybe the 60k+ car should be rethought is my point.

You don’t have to convince anyone to buy a Tesla. You just have to let them drive it.

A LOT of cars are stuck in Tacoma. Mine too. Not sure what the deal is there. I had a 3 week delay over it. Supposedly I’m scheduled for Friday.

Eventually, Tesla won’t be able to deliver cars like this anymore. The only reason they get away with it now is because no one wants to wait another two months. Cut that down to 1-2 weeks and I’ll wait every time.

You’ll get a phone call or email before your account shows anything so don’t bother refreshing every hour, even though you probably still will ;)

I’ll owe a week after I take delivery (unless it’s rescheduled again). LightStream sends the money to your account. I had them send it on a Friday because I was taking delivery on a Sunday. They cancelled on me late Friday night.

Ugh, all these reschedules are discouraging. I was rescheduled from 9/23 to 10/16. I am not looking forward to a reschedule after 3 weeks of waiting, but I know the chances are high.

My DSA only responded to me when my delivery was 4 days out (quickly too). Now that I was delayed 3 weeks, it’s crickets. He won’t even respond to other Tesla employees emailing him. My theory is that they only look at people who have VINs and deliveries within a few days. Everyone else they...
