Can anyone share experiences with X-Care? i'm considering for my used X bought through 3rd party (not qualified for Tesla ext warranty).

Has anyone bought or know of anyone who bought Xcelerate warranty and any experiences you can share? My X is getting close to 50k and I bought it 3rd party so I can't qualify to get the Tesla extended warranty.

Is there such thing as a 2017 X 60D? I'm looking around for a used X with AP2 and that's what the salesman is telling me but that seemed fishy. o_O Could it be that this car was manufactured in late 2016 but wasn't delivered until 2017 therefore classified as 2017? Can you tell from a VIN?

That's a bummer if we can't change the settings! Have anyone try to sign in with their own free account? Is it the same type of account that comes with the car or less features?

Anyone know how to get access to their Tesla Slacker account to turn on the parental setting? I've asked my service center but they said they don't know it. It's pretty stressful skipping through the songs with kids in the car not knowing when the F-bombs will pop up. o_O:eek:

Did you speak to the Delivery Team at Rockville? Cause I spoke to them directly (I think option #4 on their auto menu). I dealt with Daniel, Jerry, and Sean. They were all awesome, I just asked do they happen to have any time to squeeze me in and Sean said last Wed (tentatively) since he wanted...

Sorry if I might have missed a thread about this one. Does anyone have issues with their vanity/visor light? Mine doesn't seem to be working. Is there some setting in the car we need to turn on/off to get it working?

Anybody got their "Automatic open" with XX Feet to work?? I changed it to 90-100ft but it still doesn't automatically open when I approach, still have to manually open it.

Mine's been over 48hrs, still thinks I'm in Cali. :eek: Called Tech support they said give it couple days..but didn't say particularly HOW long, also rebooted once.

I guess you formulated my question better and answered it. Basically I wanted to ask if it hurts anything to plug it in even if I don't need the range and the answer sounds like it's a "no" (as long as I set it to 80% or less as the max). Thanks!

I don't think I've heard the discussion about how "often" it should be charged. For example, if I have a really short commute a particular week that between 20% - 80% will last me the whole week, should I still plug in everyday to get it up to 80% every morning? Or should I not plug in until it...

Sounds like it's a common theme with majority of the ISAs. I've only had 2 phone conversations and 2 emails from my ISA (1 email was a repeat 'cause she didn't see my reply) in 11 days! She's also located in Vegas. :mad: Luckily, my service center have been super helpful when I call for updates...

You're right, I'll get more gray hair trying to figure out their logic! Just hope I get some sort of communications w/ the ISA soon she's driving me nuts. Wonder if I could request to switch to your ISA Sean. Mine admitted that she's fairly new...just my luck! :(

:rolleyes::D I guess I wasn't alone switching from AWD to RWD 'cause I was piss too! It was a tough decision since I wanted AWD (standard battery tho not LR), but then don't want to wait that long and paying the extra $4k. Lets hope my delivery holds up, the ISA is not really communicating well...

How much have you all got it done for and what areas? Full car or partial? What difference have you seen after it was done?

Got a call by the ISA last Friday (6/29) and 2 follow up emails but no further info from the ISA. She doesn't reply to my replies nor pick up her phone. Does someone have a responsive ISA that you can share so I can see if that ISA can nudge mine? Or a "supervisor ISA" contact? This is ridiculous!

Sounds like I got the worse of the ISA! Barely any communications after first contact, now her voicemail is full and she never picks up or reply to emails! I had to call my service center to get my VIN, glad they were able to pull it up so I can start my insurance & financing paperwork! :mad:

Same here, got a call on Friday 6/29/18 from the ISA telling me I have a VIN but she haven't told me my actual VIN. Sent and called her multiple times, no response. Yet she sent me a second email asking for my financing info, it's like she forgot or didn't get my emails since she called me. So...

Not a current owner, but when I spoke to my ISA on 6/29 as she called me to tell me my RWD is ready for delivery I asked her if I changed my mind to Dual Motor how much longer. She said ~4-6 weeks, that would put it Mid-August but I wouldn't trust that by the way there has been plenty of delays...

Garrulous, so are you saying we should fill out a second VR-334 for just the NEMA 14-50? One for the car and one for the plug? I have no intention of driving all the way to Glen Burnie so I guess I'll mail it in (tho it's an excuse to take a drive :rolleyes:) Also, who did you use to get the...

If someone can confirm what Daniel in SD is saying that'd be great. I'm a 4/1 reservation holder and changed my mind to LR AWD because I saw delivery was exactly the same as LR RWD, was I wrong if I wanted the car earlier? Should I stick w/ RWD??

When did u all make your reservations?? This is really making me reconsider changing my config last night from AWD to RWD to see if I get it sooner??

So bottom line is no one with 4/1/16 reservation has gotten their invite to configure yet like me? :mad::( They really need to update their "estimated delivery" in our accounts! There's noway at this point I'd get mine by the end of July as indicated.

Hope that tweet refers to ALL the 4/1 reservations 'cause I think I made my reservation late in the day :( and I'm on the east coast.

Question for those with delivery dates in June, when did you make your reservation? I still have an estimated delivery date of May - July but haven't even configure so I'm getting worried that it won't happen even in July since some of you configured all the way in April! *Sigh*
