The VIN took about 60+ days. You have to take the delivery before 12/31/2023 to qualify for the $7.5K. I don't mean any disrespect by stating this.

My 2022 MS LR (not plaid) came with the same brake caliper. Glossy black. It used to be gray unpainted caliper for non-plaid S or X. I had a bodyshop painted previous 2015 MS 85D and 2019 MX 100D. The new glossy black-painted brake caliper looks good, it saves money for me, lol

If that's the case, then I take back what I said. I assumed folks keep talking about 2024 VIN instead of the 2024 model, which are 2 different things.

Will the buyer in the future really care about the VIN? If it is me, all I care is what is on the paper or the title, is it 2023 MX or 2024 MX? The argument of "oh although this is a 2023 MX on the title but the VIN is 2024" seems to be pale to me.

Me too. The good news is that I just sold my wife's 2019 MX 100D. Now I really hope I can take delivery before 12/31/23. Took me 60 days to sell it through AutoTrader.
