Revisiting the Indicator light needed for Autonomous driving! We need an external light!

I posted this a long while back and was ridiculed, but I'm going to double down on this. With all the phantom breaking and bad autopilot decisions I still think it is imperative to have a light indicating the driver is not controlling the vehicle. Yes, Yes I understand that autonomous...

External indicator light whena vehichle is self driving. Which color?

I really believe we need an exterior light indicating that a vehicle is in self driving operation. I think its very important for others to be aware due to mixed driving situations. I also think it will cause less road rage knowing the person that is taking that turn slowly is really the...

Plastic matte middle console cover - Free - Maple Ontario

I bought a supposed matte carbon fibre look centre console piece from Amazon. I didn't like the look of it as it was just a grey pattern so I removed it. I was hoping it looked more carbon fibreish and since replaced it. It needs some double sided tape as the original is useless/gone after...

FINALLY! viewing music menu while using browser (TeslaWaze)

Why didn't anyone tell me we could pull up the music menu while keeping the browser in view??? You simply have to swipe up on the music icon, you can even expand it all the way. Didn't even know this was possible! Make sure you don't tap the icon as it will remove the browser.

Real life Winter Model 3 efficiency thread

This is the reality of bad weather... -4 C, snow on roads. Drive to work.... 347 Wh/km or 555 Wh/mile over 14.4 km. I can't believe the amount of snow in November, sometimes we don't even get this until after Christmas. I will lose 100km of range going approx 30km. This is why cold climates...

    Ontario 407 - V10 horrible

I don't use autopilot much since I rarely drive the hwy's for long distances but I used it today with subpar results. I found on the 407 the car bouncing in the lane a lot. Also my 2 lane changes aborted for no reason flinging the car over. I also found the lines on the screen changing from...

Tell me about your part reliability issues, minor adjustments/How not included .

I'm trying to gauge how the model 3 is holding up reliability wise not including squeaks, paint, panel alignment or adjustments related to build quality. I want to know if any parts have failed. Please post any parts, suspension, chargeport, drive unit etc. that have failed. So far I have not...

    Chill mode is great

I never thought I would use it as much as I have. I prefer using it in city traffic and bad/winter weather. Maybe I'm showing my age but it still picks up plenty fast in Chill for normal driving. It smooths out acceleration and feels more luxurious, wanted to give it some love.:)

Expected charging speed info on charge screen.

Since I'm from Toronto and got my model 3 in December I've never received charging rates higher than 50kwh, usually 30 to 45. I think we should request a feature on the charge screen to indicate the expected charging speed based on the temp outside, battery state and the charging location...

Bought the 6-50 NEMA adapter and it says 30A on the plug but charges at 32A

This is weird, Tesla sells a plug adapter that has a 30A rating to deliver 32A? Is this ok? I bought it since my ChargePoint charger also uses this plug. Good for a backup level 2 charging. oops it says 250V, sort of missed that. I guess its good for 240v 32A. :P

Car goes to sleep while charging with J1772 adaptor after 5 min.

I have a charpoint home charger and recently the car will not stay awake with the J1772 adaptor. After 5 minutes the car goes to sleep and says charging interrupted. If I load my app and wait a minute for the car to wake up it will charge again for 5 min and fall back asleep. Supercharging does...
