Yes. Get the Performance if the money jump doesn't hurt too bad, or if the AWD non-P is slower than other cars you've had (doubtful). Otherwise, the AWD is very quick and that's without the performance boost. Honestly it's a win-win situation.

I've owned both and it is very noticable, like going from a "wow!!" to a "WHOA!!!" That said, I accelerate to that speed less than I thought I would once I got my 3p, mostly because it gets so fast so quick that you have to be careful in city streets

I went from AWD non-P to Performance-. I don't if afeel much if any difference in my daily driving. Mashing the pedal is when I feel the difference, along with needed additional restraint to not smoke all the fools who step to me. That badge tho!

I picked up my P3D- eight days ago and it has 19 inch rims.

I paid for EAP on my first Model 3, but honestly the only feature I really used was TACC and occasionally Lane Change. I liked both these features, though I would disable TACC sometimes in bad traffic or if it did a dangerous phantom break. As for the other features... NoA: I had turned it on...

I called Tesla today asking about the P3D- I recently purchased, if it had been an AWD upgraded to a Performance model. His response was that the P3D- are AWDs that have undergone "performance tuning". I didn't ask if that "tuning" involved more than flipping a bit or a software upgrade.

I called Tesla Decatur today and they told me that they had moved my delivery to Alpharetta (was glad I called at the time, no communication otherwise) and that Decatur was too cramped. They also told me they are getting more 3s on Saturday morning, 9/22.
