Wow some serious players now, when was that one auctioned?

45k is a fair chunk of dough, not forgetting that an insurance company assessed (rightly or not) that it would be more costly to repair than replace/pay out. I'd be interested to see your pics. Did you take any of the white X by any chance!? I'll be seeing it in due time anyway...

How is it there are so many totalled Teslas at the moment? Today's Tesla X writeoff auctions sold for 33k and 16k. The latter was pretty well damaged but is heading my way for the batteries and motors for other projects...

Good on you for having another go. Do you do the repairs yourself in NZ or here in Australia? Was your last one a Stat writeoff?

$31k for the 2017 Model S 60D, repairable write off. Wow that's a lot of $$$...

That's all well and good ensuring that stat writeoffs dont make their way back on the road. But what about those of us that are interested in purchasing writeoffs for the parts (batteries, motors etc)?

Is there any way of telling (without viewing in person) what the specs are (and hence what the original market value was? )
