I literally woke up to this problem today. Anyone else still having this issue? On 2018.46.2. The mobile app shows the right location, the in car GPS does not. To be clear, in a Model 3. Not an X.

To be fair, it depends on who does the evaluation. While I agree more times than not they will not give KBB value, I was shocked to find they gave it to me on my vehicle.

Congrats! Here’s hoping that’s true. I’ve been hesitant to bug my rep until next week. On Monday, it’ll be ~6 days from when the car is scheduled to arrive at Tyco Rd (Oct 15th). I’ll want to double check and make sure it made it to the Birmingham train checkpoint at the very least.

To be fair, I did mine during the EOQ scramble. I bet they were all hands on deck then.

A week is a LONG time. Mine was completed in 2-3 hours! Had no lien on the vehicle.

So I had them update the site to include my Oct. 22 delivery and as soon as they did the VIN disappeared. I'm inquiring now, but it appears that since the delivery is 7 days out (as some have reported), the site automatically suppresses the VIN.

Here's hoping they learned their lesson and are taking a page from Apple. That is to under promise and over deliver. I'm told my car will arrive Oct 15th by my rep in Fremont. My SC said they want to schedule me for Oct 22nd. I'm hopeful it's closer to the former and my SC wants to provide a bit...

This is terrifying. Why then assign a VIN prior to delivery? I was just assigned a VIN but told the car just left Fremont headed for the Birmingham depot. If that car gets taken out from under me, I’m going to flip my lid. What an awful way to treat customers.
