Question about my relay setup for radar detector. My power cord has a fuse built in, should I cut the fuse off to connect to the relay?

What are you using for power? I'm planning on using vcleft port for power and running relay to the brown wire like eXntrc. Thanks for the clarification and pics would be great if you get a chance.

Is an alignment required after adding spacers? I just put springs on and plan on adding spacers later on, just wondering if I will need another alignment. Tia

Which bolts are your referring, I'm not sure as my friend worked the spring compressor. That's odd about the rear measurements being off, are you measuring up the center of wheel? My measurements are all the same with rear a qtr inch lower. Also 1.5 up front is a little more than advertised...

I did trim front and rear by abt 20mm taking off the first rib. Hard to get real precise, I used a serrated kitchen knife and it worked well. Who knows if that's the right move with differing opinions abound.

Bumper was the hardest. But keeping any lint, dirt, or hair from getting on the film was tricky, also getting some of edges to stick. It was very tedious and time consuming and I did a poor job, would gladly pay next time to get it perfect

I used the Suntek kit from ebay on my black model 3. It was much harder than I anticipated and I am fairly handy at most things. Black shows every single mistake, I would pay someone if l could do it over. If your not concerned about it being perfect then go for it.

It has only happened the one time back in early November. I'm currently on 40.2.1

So I was driving and heard a loud pop from front dash speaker. Both front door and dash speakers were inoperable while rear speakers were still working. Volume was only at 1/2 to 3/4 and all sound came back after a 2 button reset. Curios if anyone has experienced this or know what may have happened.

I am all for paying my fair share for the roads, I just don't agree with the arbitrary 200+$ figure. I think the mileage driven for that year is how the tax should be accessed. Not to mention we are taxed on the power bill.

I had issues with my tint job as well, the guy said he would redo and when he stripped the tint the defrost lines were damaged in multiple places. He retinted and when I would turn on the defrost half of the lines would not work. I luckily got him to strip the tint a 2nd time and refund the tint...

I just got a kit off Ebay for 14 bucks. Came with an ounce of paint and 2 small brushes. Applied a thin coat earlier and seems to match well. Wiped the excess with alcohol and plan do put a few more coats til filled.

Ok so the rear piece that you replaced doesn't have the hue, just the glass piece above the driver. Thanks for the info

The hue is mainly visible with a light mist or rain and you would def notice, it's quite a spectacle. The full glass will have the coating just more pronounced with the section that is tinted. If you tint the glass it will be uniform.

My tint installer scratched my top piece of chrome and I was quoted 170$ a piece. I have read on this forum earlier in the year they were around 60$. Not sure if the pricing has gone up since then or if my quote is wrong.

Mine would squeal at very low speeds while turning left. They changed the brake caliper clips and I am squeal free.

Still haven't resolved the issue. There are a few repairs to patch the defrost line with permatex being one I know of. Plan as of now is to have the tint removed, hopefully no more damage in the process, apply the permatex and retint. I will update this thread once complete... fingers crossed
