Regarding cloth seats ... Audi used to offer 'regular' and 'sports' seats in the old A4's. I think of the current Model 3 seats as 'sports' seats. At some point Tesla could offer simpler (not as much side bolster, etc) cloth seats that perhaps are not made in house - by a volume seat...
