Don’t worry about the estimated delivery date too much. Its not personalized and is literally your order date/edit date + 2-4 months. I’ve had a friend who used this method and changed design, and got called the next day despite a “revised” October-December delivery date

Mine is 669XX. I don’t think VINs are used sequentially.

That VIN property exists in the previous version. And it was displayed as null even when the encodedVIN contains a value. This leads me to believe that VIN property is used only when Tesla want to “unhide” the vin. Which at that point it will be prominently displayed next to your reservation number.

There were a steady pattern of AWD Non-P Vin assignment with respect to reservation date (within a given config) up until the past couple of days. Now it seems like it has turned into the same ordeal as RWD, with people waiting 70+ day for VIN while others wait a week within the same area. Idk...

Tesla also updated the code for their order page so that the EncodedVIN is no longer in the source code. It is all hidden now. Seems like they've been doing a lot of changes in the background, possibly to streamline the order/delivery, contract process.

I guess now the question is: how long before they get through day 1 AWD reservation holders? I reserved mine in October 2016, getting impatient :(

That is correct. Looking through the source code, the VIN value is for when the VIN is unhidden and utilized as an object/string to reference to by the rest of the site/page as part of the logic. But isn’t it a base-64 encoded string in the source? That’s why we use atob in the console to decode and get the actual VIN. I’m not sure, I don’t have a VIN yet. Can anyone confirm?

I would keep it like this and not stress about it. My order was on the 27th of June as well and it says 28th on the payment. As it pertains to the reservation payment, I mean if Tesla truly prioritizes reservation date and yours is 0001, then you'll get yours faster ;)

Glad it got resolved. They definitely have a problem on their end. I have another Tesla account under a different email, and I never reserved using that email. However logging into that account I can see that I have a reservation on it with a reservation number and everything. :-/

If your account page changed, it definitely means something. Because I configured in June 27 and my account page is still the same as before, unlike many of you.

Are you financing through Tesla or your own bank. Im financing through my own bank, and if you do that, it should give you an estimated amount with taxes etc.

My account is working for me. Everything is there (old design) but the payment method is the same “technical difficulty”. Hopefully that means they’re updating their site and we’re getting deliveries soon!

If the motors are truly binned, AWD non-p shouldn't be that far behind. Especially with the report of edit buttons disappearing for non-p AWD. I need to stop refreshing. Probably taking up large portion of my work's internet bandwidth :p
