Not helpful, but as a comment, this is exactly the reason why they stopped doing it. Ran into too many customers where installation of it is just unfeasible. Can it be done, possibly, but the process of it is not worthwhile to the company at all in terms of labor.

To be fair though, it really depends on how much you drive. I drive a whole lot and PPF at least the front has saved me from chips that would bug the hell out of me. I can say I've not incurred any noticeable damage ever since I had my entire front PPF'd.

Other than the illumination, I personally prefer the standard. Due to the illumination backing, the Pro when photographed and viewed at certain angles, it has blue tint. The standard on the other hand is a nice black without the blue.

Ehh, not sure how you're envisioning it, but a hatch typically would open up higher. My S when opened up all the way almost hits my opened garage door, whereas my 3 is totally safe.

I mean, to be fair though, though a short stop of 10-15 min is prob enough to get from one point to another for most, sometimes the supercharging station may be a bit out of the way. So that 15 min stop is now 15 + 10 or something like that.
