RE: Premium Connectivity and being Grandfathered into it.

Hey all, I need some advice on what I should do! Long story short... I am losing Premium Connectivity. I feel I should be grandfathered into it because I placed my order before the July 1, 2018 cutoff. My Model X had to be re-ordered because there was a major defect found on the vehicle on...

I feel like I was lied to by my SC for repairs...

I posted about the issue I had before. The issue was an airbag malfunction alert for the front passenger side and that same seat gave me a false occupancy warning - both warnings showed on the instrument cluster. Original Thread Here: Airbag Malfunction Warning & Adaptive Cruise Control Issue...

Airbag Malfunction Warning & Adaptive Cruise Control Issue

UPDATE: So when this first happened, I immediately scheduled a service appointment. The issue was resolved quickly as it was just a loose connection according to them. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, the same issue has happened again. Luckily this has been my only problem so far but it's...

I give up--is there a way to find Supercharger stations in the car itself?

Im still either: A) Presseing my left foot to the forward left corner to engage E-brake (habit courtesy of my old SUV) B) Shifting from D to L and back in my Volt to utilize engine braking or coasting. I didn't like engine braking on the freeway as it would immediately activate my brake lights...

Facepalm... Im gonna go crawl into my hole now. Thank you!

I give up--is there a way to find Supercharger stations in the car itself?

Normally I'm good with tech but I've been having a brain fart. I know that if I enter a long enough route in the car's navigation app, it will give me superchargers along the way to my destination. Is there a way to find a supercharger "near me" wherever I am located at the time so I can top...

    Llllike a glove!

I unfortunately missed out on the automatic Premium upgrade but I saw a video and another post on here that an aftermarket HEPA filter can be installed. It fit perfectly and the whole job was pretty painless! Was missing one of the bolts though but not a big deal. Imgur

Airbag Malfunction Warning & Adaptive Cruise Control Issue

So after a nice couple of weeks after taking delivery, I'm faced with my first bugs/issues! I'm hoping this doesn't spiral into more but they seem relatively minor for now. Bug/Issue #1: Adaptive Cruise Control - There have been a couple instances where ACC is on and I'm on a clear stretch of...

    Charging Questions with a non-Tesla L2 model.

Thank you. Im not entirely sure what happened. The charger is on it's own circuit and is not sharing it with anything else AFAIK. When I set the Amps on the screen to 32A, I didn't have a problem. Granted, when it was set to the default value of 48A, that was the first and only time I tried...

    Charging Questions with a non-Tesla L2 model.

So I just got my TX yesterday and I am very satisfied with everything so far! I have a ClipperCreek HCS-40P L2 EVSE in my home. I went to the charging menu on the screen and set it up to begin charging at 11pm, when my off-peak electricity hours begins. Sometime shortly after it began...

Should I take delivery in SF or Fremont?

Ah thank you for the heads up! I totally forgot we're in the middle of summer and that it's going to be hot. No thank you lol. Also, I did not even think of the fact that Fremont is the delivery hub... so yes SF is definitely going to be a better choice for me.

Should I take delivery in SF or Fremont?

I live closer to SF but it's more difficult to get to in terms of parking/access and such. Should I expect a difference in the delivery experience compared between the two locations? Originally, I was going to have my X delivered to SF but they had to completely reorder my vehicle due to major...

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

I went ahead and accepted the offer for a new build. And I was wondering about that... What do they do with the repaired vehicle? Would Tesla do something as shady as essentially giving me the same vehicle but just somehow changing the VINs?

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

So another update: I got an e-mail back and they are supposedly replacing the entire door including the motor. And I got a message from my Owner Advisor - she offered to have built a brand new one with a late August delivery. Should I take the new one?

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

I'm torn if I should get a loaner lol. I'd rather have some free stuff that would be useful for when I actually get the car. I have a car that Im using now so I should be ok.

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

I will email my DS. In the first part of the email, she said "two weeks or order parts and repair damage" so not very specific. If they just bondo it (I'm assuming that means patch it up--sorry lol), should that be unacceptable to me?

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

UPDATE: So after requesting a more insight on what the damage was exactly with my DS, I was told this: The ball joint for the door motor apparently became detached so when it closed, it damaged the door panel "basically poked a hole into the sheet metal" She explained the 50 miles to me...

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

Well, at least I no longer feel alone lol. But I still find it difficult that such damage can happen in transport from the factory---I am just guessing that the factory is so busy that they don't really do in depth inspections of their vehicles prior to transport and delivery. Still...

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

I wonder if I can just get free stuff instead lol. I still have a working car... Maybe some free all weather floor mats would be nice.

Was supposed to take delivery tomorrow but was delayed due to damage found.

So I am very annoyed and disappointed. I was so excited for delivery tomorrow but I just got a call from my delivery specialist that a technician found damage to a door (she didn't really go into detail about that) and that it would take up to two weeks to diagnose and repair. This is now...

Anyone buy those floor mats/liners made by Spartan Autotech or similar?

Busy is definitely a good word for the product. If I do get this product, I'd probably stick to black to blend in more. I'll take a look at the 3D Kagu mats, thank you!

Anyone buy those floor mats/liners made by Spartan Autotech or similar?

So I'm getting my Model X this week I am very excited! It's my first fully electric vehicle--coming from a Volt. Been doing lots of research and reading and I feel like I've only scratched the surface. I saw this item online...
