Looking at Tesla fine print on which evs qualify for the $7500 ev credit, it notes that software is not part of the $80k MSRP limit just as shipping isn’t. Does this really mean one can get the base X with FSD and still get the $7500?

So there are supposedly over 1.5 million reservations for the Cybertruck, yet their website says delivery in 2024 if you order one now. Is this saying new $250 deposit orders take precedence over existing $100 deposit orders?

Is it safe to assume all new inventory Ys have HW4? I wonder why some are $2500 off, and others are only $500, so I am wondering if it has to do with hardware version. It doesn’t look like there is a way online to know.

Chatted with Tesla today 6/16/21 and confirmed that the new S does not have Sirius anymore. As others have pointed out, if you are in an area with no cell phone coverage you have no radio. I have no idea why Musk hates Sirius so much, but the slam that Teslas are California cars is so true...

So I am just playing with ordering an S at 10:10 am PDT on 5/17 and see the purchase price as $78490, but upon reopening the webpage it is back at $79900. Interesting.

Wow reading all of the responses by Tesla owners defending paint defects and misaligned panels by new buyers is bizarre. Does it run - then accept delivery. Oh, and cosmetic defects aren’t covered by Tesla in a new car - that’s okay too. Sorry, these are not acceptable to any sane normal buyer...

I erroneously pulled out the internal contactor paper separator in the upper left corner. Does anyone know if this is actually necessary? Can someone post a picture of how it is installed?
