I agree with @kutkuzak. That's an excellent price. If they seem like they know what they are doing and are using a decent film, I'd do it in a heartbeat. The cheapest I've found by me is $5k, $1,600 just for the front end.

Yup. I pretty much had the same experience with them today. The only difference is they did say what the rate is, but won't put it on anything official until final approval.

What does the rear license plate holder that comes with the Model 3 look like? I'm considering buying this one from the Tesla shops if the standard one is a plastic piece of junk.

That's definitely my plan. I pick up my car on 9/12 and should have my windows tinted by the end of that month. I'll wait till next summer to see if I need to do anything to the glass roof, but I haven't read anything that suggests it will be needed.

Have you tried typing in Tesla.ProductF.Data.Vin into your browsers development console? I have been checking every day to see if a VIN will show up before I get a call. It would be interesting to know if it shows up for you now that you got a call but haven't been given a VIN.

Hopefully someone can answer this question. Really curious about the answer.
