I have a M3 LR with two kids and it's absolutely no issue. I've even sat in the back on long rides just to get a feel of the comfort and granted I'm only 5'9", I had more leg room and comfort than a comparable sedan. I would think you'd be ok until your child hits their mid teens.

According to TeslaFi, rollout of 2019.5.4 4c3c414 has increased substantially since 2/22. I received mine last night. I think every Model 3 will get it soon.

Looks like the new software adds the side cameras in additional to the dash, but not the rear. You'll need 2019.5.x for the side camera recording.

I believe that's exactly what happens. The brakes lights come on based on the rate of deceleration and not whether you are actually pressing on the brake pedal.

Mainly for insurance purposes. With a video, it's much easier to determine fault during an accident whereas without one, it would be your word against someone else's.

What software version are you on? I had the same issue at 21.x and 24.x. The more current versions fixed it for me.

Had this issue on my passenger side mirror. The service center replaced the whole mirror encasement. The wind noise decreased quite a bit after that.
