Did you ever figure this out? Like you, I was told that the EV charging circuit wasn't backed up by the powerwall but I've found that overnight when the car starts charging it pulls power from the powerwall (draining it pretty quickly). I think I'm seeking to do exactly what you explained.

A couple years back I used Ace Tire and Wheel in Sunnyvale to install camber bolts and do custom alignment to my specs. Never had any problems with them and they were also pretty affordable IIRC - something like $60 for a 4-wheel alignment.
