Eventually, they won’t be able to deliver cars like this anymore because people will be able to take their business elsewhere.

It is ridiculous. You would think that someone would at least be competent enough to arrange to get the car from Tacoma to Seattle before scheduling a delivery appointment, yet they’ve managed to **** this up three times and counting. I would not recommend a Tesla to anyone based on this...

Yup. First car was sent back to California in August due to an airbag problem. Current car has been sitting in Tacoma for the past 2 weeks due to "logistics."

You ordered a month after my first (canceled) delivery date. Lucky bastard.

They suck. But they have no competition, so there is no incentive for them to not treat their customers like *sugar*. Unless another company commits to producing long-range EVs in volume, we can all expect to keep getting the finger from them.

They will flake on you.

I get a new delivery advisor every time they cancel on me. On #5 now.

They texted me to reschedule. I texted back and never heard from them again. I am getting sick and tired of this *sugar*.

Cashier’s check. It’s been sitting at my house for two weeks as Tesla continues to cancel and reschedule my delivery appointments.

It’s either that or cancel the loan, reapply, have my credit run again etc.

My first delivery appointment was 8/18. I will actually be making my first car loan payment on Friday.

And...cancelled again. I guess I will be scheduling my fifth delivery appointment next week. This feels like Groundhog Day.

Other people have had it worse. I am at least glad that they didn’t just decide to give my car to someone else.

So, rescheduled for Thursday. Hope the 4th time’s a charm? VIN disappeared yesterday, reappeared this afternoon. Still the same VIN.

Makes sense. I just had my third delivery cancellation yesterday. Meanwhile, my first car payment will be coming out of my bank account on Friday.

And...cancelled for the third time. Just got the call that my car never arrived, so today’s delivery won’t be happening. Serves me right for getting my hopes up.

It is super stressful. I would think that, if there really were a problem with your delivery, you would have heard from someone yesterday. My VIN appeared, then disappeared, then reappeared again. My car actually started showing up in my Tesla app, then disappeared again this morning, although...

Not sure. Mine disappeared on Saturday and reappeared Sunday. Hope the same happens with you.

No. No. That was the first time I got a text. Also was contacted by a new person that time. Handled the reschedule via text.

That happened on mine two days ago. Not taking delivery until 9/30.

Expect the worst and you won’t be disappointed...

iOS. I can’t actually do anything through the app yet, but it is showing up. I also no longer have “prepare for delivery” when I log into my Tesla account from the website.

Sounds more a matter of putting too many people in a given delivery window. My delivery specialist booked me for an appointment time that I couldn’t make due to my work schedule and didn’t respond to several emails from me afterwards. So I basically self-scheduled by going to the delivery...

So I am starting to think this is actually going to happen. The car is now appearing in my Tesla app and in my Tesla account profile on the website. Not taking delivery until Sunday, though, so it might just be a glitch.

The rebate you guys get makes up for it, though.

VIN just came back, possibly since I am (again) 7 days out from delivery as of 6pm Pacific Time. But who’s counting?

You got lucky. I had a 2009 335i coupe. Had HPFP replaced twice including once after recall. Also had it in the shop four times in two months when I finally decided to get rid before the warranty expired.

I just want to get the *sugar* over with, as long as the car is in good condition. I don’t even care if it’s dirty since I’ll be taking it to a detailer a day or two later for new car detail and paint protection film. I also got a good enough trade-in estimate that it wasn’t worth going through...

That’s reassuring.

I’d rather just stick with the one I have, otherwise I need to find someone at Tesla to do substitution of collateral paperwork for my loan and I don’t trust that anyone there is competent enough to do it.

It is so stressful. This buying experience has been night-and -day compared to my experiences with BMW and Audi.
