Anyone with experience trading in their M3 for an MY?

I'll be trading in my Model 3 for a Model Y pretty soon and I'm wondering if anyone else has done it. I'm just curious about the process and have some concerns: -Do I just drop it off? Do I "wipe" it clean of data first? Do they look at it at all? -Should I keep some components for resale? (eg...

    Model 3 Wh/km

Had the car for 18 days now: 1100 km, 151 wh/km total average. Work commute is on Highway 1 for approx 70 kms @ 120kmh round trip. AWD, no aero covers. Usually driving in the city like a maniac, flooring as needed. No idea how I'm getting these numbers as I was expecting around 170-200wh/km...

Build quality is phenomenal (to my knowledge.. just picked up yesterday). Went though the most important items on the checklist and then did the rest at home. FYI - Just an update. Picked up my Red AWD Model 3 and things went smoothly. Was there for about 3 hours though waiting for paperwork so the DA gave us a full tour...very useful! Apparently they are no longer doing that because of so many deliveries though.

Wow. 4.38% is way better than 4.58% - Looks like the rates went up a bit in September then.

Weird... mine says 4.58% / 96 months thru Scotia... I'm wondering if I can switch to the RBC rate?. I assume its worth it even for 0.06% difference.

AWDs on the way to Canada?!?

Thanks. Oh I see now... my numbers add up to $82110.00 owing but on the website it says "Amount financed: -83693.00 ; amount due: -1583.00" which is the difference totaling $82110.00. What is your term/interest rate? Is it the same for everyone? Mine is 96mo @ 4.58% thru scotia... I'm...

P3D Highway Range — Early Cautious Optimism

Please confirm this next time you get out to your car because 240wh/m is incredible. Most P3Ds and 3Ds are averaging 270-280 so far so you have me highly optimistic with my upcoming AWD! (Will be 90% highway driving). Edit: also - is this with or without aeros? and do you have a P-AWD or AWD...

Will the AWD Model 3 Need Snow Tires?

It comes down to whether or not you know how to drive in the snow. Some people are idiots and like to drive like its summer - if that is you then I'd definitely recommend winter tires. You can get through most snow seasons if you keep your distance, stop early, leave early, and accelerate...

Anxiously waiting an AWD review / videos

So based off this info... you used about 25% which is about 77 miles for a 70 mile trip. Is this highway or city? So this appears to be less efficient?.. perhaps not since you have been having "fun" driving there?

Why are some M3s fully wrapped for delivery and others not?

On second thought I agree with you. Paint cure does make more sense.
  44. C

Why are some M3s fully wrapped for delivery and others not?

I believe they all come wrapped. Most of the time in transport the wind, etc causes the wrapping to come off partially so the truck driver will take most of it off and put it in the trunk to prevent any issues on the road (eg. wrapping flying off on highway and obstructing another driver's vision).

[Poll] AWD/P-AWD reservers and changing to RWD because of range

Per my above details: The charger details are as follows: 30A, 7.2kW. - how much range would I get in 2 hours with that? I can totally tolerate the daily connect/disconnect. My plan would be to charge like this if it's my only option and then for long trips or desperate charging I can go to the...

[Poll] AWD/P-AWD reservers and changing to RWD because of range

Still unsure. Slightly disappointed for the following reasons (perhaps someone can convince me to switch to RWD?): I have no home charging (live in condo in Canada with no possibility of setting up 120v or 240v) I can only charge at level 2 chargers on the street (2 hour max.. is this...
