I have a 2006 Lotus Elise and a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. I plan to sell the Lotus in the spring since the M3D is such a blast to drive. The Toyota might be next if Tesla can give the 3 an official tow rating.

@lotusland, I am also coming from a Lotus Elise. Didn’t drop the cash for the P but got the 3D. Couldn’t agree more with your comments. Still haven’t put the Lotus up for sale, how about you?

I have a stress crack on my rear window as well 56xxx vin. Appointment on Monday for SC to look at it. @spurs10 I heard that the lack of red tint was a sign of a manufacturing defect that did not include the UV coating. Can anyone confirm?

iOS 12.0.1 had a bunch of Bluetooth and WiFi bug fixes that resolved my issue. Also running v9 in the car.

Virtually! Update 39.7 shows cars and trucks side swiping me all the time. This one was at a stoplight with no car movement. Makes the blind spot feature almost worthless. It also shows cars two lanes over in the next lane. This update needs help! Btw - Still the best car ever!

+1 for Schlage. I have the Schlage Sense deadbolt lock and can have Siri unlock the door without having to type in the code when it is raining. I no longer have any keys in my pocket.

I have the XS Max as well but my M3D is in for paint correction so have not be able to try the key. I can say the Bluetooth connection to my AirPods has been horrible. Hopefully Apple will fix it with a software update.

@zoiks66 if you order the Model 3 with Dual Motor then there would be no reason to remove the 3D logo!

10/3 is my new autoanything ship date after 2 delays. They must use the Tesla algorithm for shipping estimates.

Never had phone key issues before this update and now I have to open the app next to the car to get it unlocked. Annoying!

Mine does the same on my DM/AWD. Seems odd to me as well!

With creep mode on the car now rolls back on a slight incline. This is annoying change after the update.

@intjester I have the same habit of mashing the brake pedal and with the car being so quiet the chimes are annoying. Slowly learning to avoid the brake pedal on entry!

@dano9258 I let a friend drive my car and she kept having gear issues too. I realized she was feeling the first “click” up or down on the lever and not pressing to the second and final “click” if that makes any sense.

I’m in Richmond VA aka RVA. The local shops want to see the car in person before quoting... Not many TM3’s in my area. Have only seen 2 so far.

Received an email from Tesla with the VIN in the subeject line asking for me to submit my financing paperwork. Portal and Wall Charger checkout currently do not show the VIN.
