Current service plan - current prices?

I appreciate this is slightly off topic, but a few people have mentioned the requirement of PCP to have the car serviced to the manufacturer's recommendations. Has anyone spoken to Barclays (current PCP provider) to check whether it has to be done at Tesla or whether we could use somewhere like...

Rattle noise coming from front Air Suspension (2017-18)

I've been into my SC today for this issue. The service manager came out for a drive with me and straight away knew what the problem was, he was just surprised it had happened so quickly on my car (3 weeks old) until he saw that I'd done 2.5k miles. Below is his explanation, please bear in mind...

    Current lease deals in UK

Just to Echo what Terry said above... Tesla are v hard to beat especially on inventory stock. I looked at lots of different options and ended up using their PCP. Don't underestimate the value of free Supercharging either if you're doing a lot of mileage, it makes a big difference for me.

Model S Tesla Arachnid Wheels for sale (And Elon Musk Wall charger)

Has this sold now? I tried to find it by looking at your other items via the link to wheels but it looks like you only have the wheels up for sale on that account.

    Garo Home Charger

There are multiple versions - I’d be getting the 32a / 7kw one

    Garo Home Charger

Does anyone have any experience of Garo chargers? I'm picking up my MS next week and I need to get a charger installed... I have the opportunity of having one of these fitted FoC (long story) but I'd prefer to know other people are using them OK before going ahead. I've had a quote of £280...

    Delivery day advice...

What day are you collecting? I'm guessing given the North West location it'll be Stockport? I'm just waiting for my date in that week :)

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

I went for a 75. I couldn't justify the extra in the end - for the very few times I'll have to stop twice on a trip I'll cope.

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

The VIN shows it as a 2018 model (Nov '17 on), so guess I'll be ok :). Thanks for the info

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

So, my order (from inventory) is placed! I went for a Midnight Silver with 21" Sonic Carbons, Black Premium, Carbon Fibre and EAP. No PUP - I couldn't find a car with the right "other bits" and PUP, and I couldn't really care less about SubZero or HEPA and I figured I can always upgrade the...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Thanks both - I wasn't aware of the "uncorking" issue, as soon as you've mentioned that term I've found lots of stuff articles and everything makes sense :)

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

I'm at I point where I think I'm going to place an order this week, so thank you everyone for the help. Just wondering... is there a reason why all inventory 75Ds show a 0-60 speed of 5.4s on the advert, whereas the custom order page states 4.2 for a 75D? I'm not overly bothered about the...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Sadly not, just the one where I'm staying whilst in the loan car. There is so much conflicting info on what comes with the car in the UK and what the UMC can connect to, it's unreal. So it sounds like answering my question of "Can I charge at a Type 2 plug" with "Yes, the UMC cable will do...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Nevermind... answered my own question 30 secs after pressing post - typical! I guess all the info I'd read was in US forums/subforums

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Tesla came back to me at about 7pm - the car I want is still in stock. Hopefully it not appearing on the main website via search/filter will help prevent it being snapped up! One final question (for now!)... does the UK UMC cable connect to type 2 chargers? I queried with Tesla earlier whether...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

So, this is becoming harder! I've pretty much decided that I'll order a 75D from inventory provided I get on OK on the test drive on 13th/14th. I figured given that Barclays can take up to 5 days to approve it would be worth getting the approval sorted now so that I can just order straight...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

I’ve spoken to Tesla and apparently the customer order on the website doesn’t include destination/docs, so the cars are identical prices. Apparently this is normal for a 0 mileage inventory car - they have never carried discount. The main benefit of inventory is 2.9% apr vs 4.9%. The good...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Maybe I’m missing something, but if I build the below car in the configuration it comes up as £78,400 buts it’s £78,740 from inventory? Inventory Search | Tesla

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Thanks for the link Mark - much easier to find the right stock on there than on the Tesla search! Am I right in my assume that that since PUP has been added as standard it actually works out cheaper to order a custom build than get from inventory!? That seems mad, surely they should have...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Thanks all for the replies. Seems like the general consensus is go for a 100D if I can afford it. I’ve had a couple of quotes through today (new inventory) and the 100D is only £100 (approx 12%) more, so not as bad as I thought. I also didn’t realise extended test drives were available so I...

Considering a Model S - am I mad in my situation?

Hi there Been lurking for a while and reading lots on here. I'm in the process of changing job and am becoming Self Employed (IT contracting). I've wanted a Model S for a while but never been able to justify the cost, however I'll be doing a lot of miles in for the foreseeable future and the...
