2018 Headlight failure analysis DRL module blew up

I have a 2018 LR with a failed passenger headlight. It wasn't the 'ballast' module, so I bought a used assembly from Ebay and plugged it in. Worked right away, but the brightness didn't match the driver side. Software update fixed that issue. I saw corrosion on the DRL module in the back, so I...

Looks like this one is under construction according to a poster on a Facebook group.

    Possible Location - Vaudreuil, QC

I just saw a thread on one of the Tesla groups in Quebec showing an 8 stall V3 station will be built at the IGA Extra in Vaudreuil-Dorion at 249 Boulevard Harwood. Also they are adding 2 generic fast chargers for a total of 10.

DIY Almost Free Super Bright LEDs

I had a look at the board and it looks like the pins and the LED are all on the same board so you actually have to either desolder the pins to the connector or break the board by the pins. Actually it's easier to lift the board from the other end and break it by the pins.

    Grinding/noisy brakes

I had a squeaking noise from one of my wheels, turns out it was a clip in the rear caliper that was replaced under warranty. It's a known issue.

Reboot the MCU by pressing on both buttons on the steering wheel for a few seconds. Should clear it right up.

    Bluetooth - Streaming

Just wanted to update people who were having problems still, after a recent update (I forget which one but I'm at 34.1 now but since at least 28.2) I no longer have bluetooth streaming problems with my wife's OnePlus 3T.

    Battery efficiency

It's even easier in Kilometers. 500KM range so 50KM = roughly 10% and so on and so forth.

    Model 3 windshield replacement

It turns out my SC brings in a contractor (probably Safelite or some other windshield company) to install it. They got the piece for me and did the installation in a few hours.

    Model 3 windshield replacement

It was done at the beginning of the month. Took the morning to do it, they messed up the loaner so I just waited for them to finish. The installer managed to chip the roof, not major but they will have to replace it when they get it in.

    Model 3 windshield replacement

I had mine replaced under warranty, it took about a month to get the windshield, and another day for the installation. Total was approximately $650 CDN for the windshield and another $300 for the labor or so.

Charging through a doorway from another room

You could buy a cable hatch that are used for RVs. They're round doors made for 16-50 plugs to be passed through.

    Winter Rims for Model 3

I'm planning on using the Aero's as winter wheels and get a nicer set of mags for the summer, unless I find a really 'inexpensive' set of okay looking rims for the winter.

Decision still 18 months away but still no Chademo for Model 3. Thoughts

Well they did open a Supercharger in NB, so that's a start...

    Have anyone got windshield replaced?

Had a windshield break from behind in mid June, they finally got a replacement in and I have an appointment next week. Quoted $675 CDN for the glass plus labor so about $1000 total. I have to get them to warranty it since the crack did not occur due to an impact (there's no impact point).

    Bluetooth - Streaming

Just wanted to let you know my wife's phone has the exact same problem. She has a OnePlus 3T with the latest stock software. Apparently it's some sort of bug with Android Oreo's implementation of Bluetooth. I heard that the lastest beta fixes it but my wife doesn't want beta software on her phone.
