new US cars are not getting them, my brother got a P3D last week came with a DM badge and no spoiler.

has anyone received a reason why we are getting close to 8 months for the early orders? carbon fiber is not a limited resource like plutonium. i am not buying supplier issues, find another supplier. i have seen installation issues, are they still testing? this really makes no sense to me.

In Colorado the Mobile Ranger said they are waiting until at least April because it’s too cold now which would result in adhesion issues and the spoiler potentially lifting on the corners. I hope I get mine in April/May, I’ve been waiting since August!

HW3 will not include camera or sensor upgrades. My understading was it was just a graphics card upgrade to process video faster from the exiting cameras which in turn will recognize reality at a much faster rate and the car will make better decisions enabling true self driving.

so i’m not looking for any performance at all, i just want the asthetics of lowering springs...but i don’t want to compromise the fantastic ride of my P3D+ nor do i want to damage/hurt my car. my understanding from T sport was I’m the perfect candidate for their non-aggressive lowering springs...

depends on how low you go, the T sports are only 1” on the P3D that already has a ton of wheel gap

it’s not that they don’t exist Michel3 it’s that no one that picked up a spoiler-less P3D+ in the last 3 months has received an ETA on when spoilers will be installed on their vehicles.

i pre-ordered T Sport P3D+ lowering springs in Aug and Im being told January delivery - it keeps getting pushed. I can’t imagine many people being ahead of me, so as soon as I get them installed I’ll let ya know!

Maximilien posted about cars in the lot with spoilers, I’m talking about owners like you and me being contacted by Tesla for the spoiler and dual motor + red under bar badge. I am not even sure you have P3D+ based on your sig block.

do you even have P3D+? you dont' have the red underline on your badge? your service center offered you the spoiler you turned that down, and you turned down the red underline too? i feel like something is awry with this story.

why would you say No thank you?? You paid for it, you can easily resell it for a couple hundred bucks. I gotta say, I find it interesting and entertaining the 1 P3D+ owner on Planet Earth that was offered the spoiler on this entire board, said "Nah no thanks I don't even want to take it...

are you talking about the battery warranty which is like 8yrs 100k/120k based on which model you have? you realize Teslas require minimal maintenance, so a warranty is like buying insurance you most likely will never use.

offered? did you have installed? pics? you will be the 1st person on this board having a spoiler installed. or maybe you are confused and you were "offered" the dual motor badge. i say this because there are several threads that i am tracking for the spoiler and everyone has been told...

if you don’t patch small chips with the change in temperature, and other factors, they are likely to spread into huge cracks in my experience.

of course, the forum and the community is stronger with good follow through. :)

i have a software background and i couldn’t agree with you more, i posed a similar question when i picked up my car and was given a weak response and then told there are a lot of firmware issues lately- yikes! best of luck updating everyone!
