Right. So even with that setting on, if you just ease off the accelerator slightly it will not need to supplement the reduced regen braking with friction brakes. So I guess energy wise that's not introducing any loss.

Curious... Is the likelihood of the 12V battery failing a function of how much you drive? For example, if you drive your car only 15k miles total over 4 years is the 12V battery less likely to fail than if you drive the car 80k miles over 4 years?

Agree with OP. You can’t go through a car wash that has wheel tracks without damaging the rims. And visibility is definitely a weak point of the car.
