DMV online chat advised not to mail in another application using the new form, said it might confused them. They said if HQ has issue with the old form then they will mail it back. They also mentioned forms mailed to the old PO BOX will be forwarded so it should be fine.

Thanks for chiming in. The payment arrangement is that the body shop will pay Tesla, then my insurance will reimburse the body shop.

1. Could be a number of things: HV battery, pyro fuse, wiring harness, hv controller etc. 2. Ask for a loaner first and drive it home. Once the car is repaired have them deliver it to your home and pick up the loaner. It's not guaranteed but I think it's reasonable and doesn't hurt to ask...

If it happened really early say at 10 miles then just pay the offset, probably cost ~$5 Since you are in California just use the formula below to calculate the actual cost (driven miles up to first issue / 120,000 miles) x purchase price = mileage offset cost

Just adding more details, it's commutation issues between the drive unit and the autopark ECU.

I just got my car back from service center. They said it's a hardware issue related to communications but they are still working on a fix. Mine seems to happen only after charging overnight and then I try to summon it out of the garage the next day. It might be HW3 specific.

I had the exact same issue, May 2019 build. You should take it directly to the delivery/servce center without appointment and ask them to take care of it right away before it gets worse.

Aero shield was ripped. Make sure you check the bottom of the car at delivery.

The showroom orders the AWD just like the online portal then they send a order modification request to the factory or a team handling the off menu to change it to a RWD. You never actually see the actual RWD pricing summary anywhere and you can only take their words for it when you place the order.
