definitely make sure both cars are square on equally flat surface. Are your wheels matte black powder coated?

My P3D is in this range too, typically 256-258. July '18 build with 26.5K miles. No changes after putting 18" wheels with winter tires on.

I'd say $15K is a good estimate. A much less complicated repair by Tesla to the rocker panel area (cutting, welding, painting) costs a little over $8K.

Mileage means less in an EV. I don't care if 3K or 6K has passed, or 20K or 30K. No service intervals and I'm not worried about it's clock ticking down like I used to with my ICE cars. I had to look (in the Tesla app just now), but I've put over 24K on my Model 3 in ~ 15 months of ownership...

Are those mounted using rings? How painful are they to remove after a winter season when you decide to put OEM machined wheels back on?

Manual adjustments can be done, suboptimally, but point is auto needs to allow top which would drastically improve windshield fog and freeze issue. This is my second winter with my P3D, and manual mode juggling temp and blower speed is a real pain to keep external and internal windshield clear...

Biggest problem I have found is that auto doesn't engage top windshield vent. If Tesla could just enable auto to stay engaged when manually selecting vent options I think it would solve my problem. Edit: I should clarify, my issue is the windshield fogging, and also ice forming in windshield...

I have a snow/ice profile setup with chill mode and low regen. Finding that Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 3 Plus don't do well enough in slick conditions with all of the torque and the regen, car breaks lose all too often. Going to actually buy a set of winters this year.
