How do you/they like their Turbo S? Canceling the Plaid for a GTS ST order has crossed my mind. I was super impressed with the base RWD Taycan handling capability…I had a ton of fun in that car, so I have high hopes for the GTS.

This isnt true. Your EDD holds and if a config match pops up in your area you’ll probably get it. I speak from experience with a couple different Tesla orders for myself and family members.

My MSP has one too. Doesn‘t bother me.

Don’t worry, I also live 10mi from the factory and don’t have a VIN for a 6st Plaid With 22s. 6/15 order. Maybe I should just that Taycan that would be totally irrational and not spacious but it drives like a dream 😂

I also ordered in June 2021. I’ve changed my desired config 3 times but the EDD has not changed. So I’d say it’s safe to change your configuration, if you’re ok with paying whatever the current configuration costs.

Can someone post these phone numbers? I’m ready to take any MXP with a white interior tbh.

While it is illegal to record in CA if both parties are in CA, I’ve literally never seen this prosecuted by a DA unless it somehow becomes involved in a civil/criminal suit…which is pretty unlikely in this case.

Nope, I ordered a Plaid S August 18th 2021, got a VIN on the 19th morning, and they delivered it to my house on the 19th evening just before close. Had to be the fastest turn in history 😂 That said, I only live 10ish miles from the factory.

I’m pretty sure my white/white plaid ordered in July won’t show up till Q2 at this rate. Seems like white interiors are still in short supply and that’s not withholding the fact that plaids aren’t even approved for sale yet.

This is fair. I’d hold tight for a few more months if you can. Either the MX comes out, or I hear the BMW iX and MB EQG is expected out mid 2022.

Not necessarily. They won’t post a vin to your account unless it matches AND is intended for delivery at the end of production. I suspect that holding lot is waiting on some sort of part before it can be cleared for delivery and/or they’re Plaids with no regulatory approval yet.

After pumping gas in my gas car today, I have no further intention of daily-ing an ICE 😂 Rivian or Lucid, maybe. Definitely not a Tundra for me.

I have just accepted that my Plaid with White seats (and no, I'm not taking cream) won't come until Q1/Q2 of next year.
