MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

@pawlik Check the top nuts on the damper, torque to 12ft/lb ~ 16Nm. There are two thin nuts stacked together, tighten the first one to 16Nm then add the second one and tighten to 16Nm. I use a bit of blue Loctite to prevent future loosening.

HYEVOLT Titanium Lug Nuts - Affordable, Lightweight, and Strong! Survived One Lap of America!

Thanks for sharing. That is a great option and supports a Tesla community at the same time. I've been very happy with Titan-7 OWL Ti nuts since 2019, before HyeVolt option was available. Would be great if HyeVolt can make a 19mm version of HT. @Gurujeff03

Elon says that newer version will solely depend on camera but what about rain [using AP]

How about sun? I'm in sunny California. At the right time of the day (1~2hrs after sunrise and before sunset) the sun is at the perfect angle that blinds camera. This have happened many times to the B-pillar cameras and front cameras.

    Aftermarket brake pad

Just stick with stock for street driving. When its time to replace them, you could consider Endless SSM or EX90.

Will stock M3P rotors be able to withstand the bites from Carbotech Xp24/Xp20 ?

Tesla rotors are of good quality, albeit too small for the weight of the car, especially for track duty. Many of us have used aggressive aftermarket pads with stock rotors. Given the thermal capacity of stock, rotors aren't really meant for the high temperature of the XP24/20, the system will...

My Car is on a Diet.

Glass is just one way to cover the hole. There are other materials that are lighter that does the same. But glass is probably the most cost efficient option, factoring finishing and installation costs of the piece.

AP Racing Radi-CAL Front Competition Brake Kit Review

Without AKBS, the efficiency is the same as with my previous setup of RB 380mm BBK and stock Performance+ red Brembo. I couldn't be happier with AP Competition brakes. The feel is very consistent from the first lap to the last lap of the day. The 9660 caliper is a very popular racing caliper...

AP Racing Radi-CAL Front Competition Brake Kit Review

I daily my car. The buzzing noise when the rotors are new drove me nuts, it gets louder with speed. Sounds like saccade. So I took them out. I finally had the opportunity to track the car without AKBS a few weeks ago it felt great. AP caliper is so direct to begin with, without the AKBS is...

    Track pack is here!

I use CRC disk brake quiet to “glue” the outboard pads without clip to the caliper. Works very well to reduce drag and noise from lose pads. It’s easy to remove CRC when it’s time for new pads.

BeastMode13's Dual Purpose P3D Build Journey

The person I work with is Erik, Endless American rep. As Erik explained to me, EX90 is a derivative of MX72, EX99 is a derivative of CC-Rg. EX90 is what I tried with my RB BBK setup, it was very linear compare to XT970. However, it still had issues with overheating which ended up with an...

BeastMode13's Dual Purpose P3D Build Journey

I was only able to do a couple of 1:45's this past Sunday. It was a 102db weekend packed with 35 cars in my Open B run group (pass anywhere). Had to do a bit of rear mirror driving with lots of stupid fast cars. I was hoping to get into 1:43 or 1:42 with the new setup. I think it is very...

    Rhythmic rubbing/griding noise from brakes

You issue is self inflicted but it’s a cheap fix. You don’t have wrap rotor. You have corrosion from lack of use, which you have already pointed out. You need just toss efficiency out of the window for couple days drive with low regen. Or google brake bedding process, then run couple cycle of...

    Upgraded To OEM Performance Brakes

How does it feel on the track? Would love to hear some more in depth comparisons. BTW. I was into JDM in 90’s to early 2000, BBK was rare, it was Brembo or maybe Spoon if you are into Honda and had money to burn. Regardless of the history. More options, more better.

    Replacing (upgrade) brake fluid

Stock valve is M10x1.0 as with most European cars. This is the Speedbleeder to get. If you have aftermarket AP or Brembo caliper, the thread is the same as stock but it’s longer. So you need to get the longer version of the same Speedbleeder. Brake Bleeder / Brake Bleeding / Speed Bleeder...

    Lug Stud Replacements

The only thing I remember is that there isn't a spot where the stud could go in straight. It has to start at an angle then you rotate the hub a little while maneuvering the stud as well. I think the cavity in post #50 might be it, or perhaps it's somewhere else.

@katie3 I’ve PD3+. The issue you have with the photos is. Mine phone is the front, while yours is the rear. Where is the face palm emoji? :D Besides, all model 3 has the exactly the same hub carrier. For the rear. As I recalled there is only two position in which you can get the Dorman...
