The Tesla replacement set costs were about 20 euros, including shipping (from the Tilburg plant in the Netherlands). An easier and more robust system would nice; I tow on a regular basis.

Thanks for the info! I have a March 18 X as well. So the push-in connectors will become small enough to pass through the car’s ‘donut’ holes? And where does the plastic ring go?

After towing, I removed the hook and kind of reattached the plastic protection cover/ plate. It seemed okay, but it probably wasn’t tight enough; I lost this plate. Tesla sent me a new one including 2 screws, rings and 2 metal small parts. I have no clue how have to use these. Does anyone know...
