The 18OE is the one for the 2018 Model S (2012-2020?), not the 17OE.

It's not your blades, it's the wiper assembly. The same thing was happening to mine, so the service center replaced the wiper assembly and VOILÁ! it works smoothly now.

Yep, I was doing the same thing. For me, it was a temporary glitch when I was taking Interstate 5 from LA to the Bay Area. I know those superchargers like the back of my hand, but I like to go where they're less crowded. Rebooting a few times helped.

When you go to Navigation, try re-setting home. I was having this same issue, and when I went to Navigation > Home, I discovered that "Home" got switched to address for the Tesla Service Center after my last trip to the Service Center.

I hope you’re right. I don’t know anything about how the Tesla is built, but I can’t help assuming that the PTC heater was not the original issue and if it was collateral damage from the malfunctioning HV battery, they wrongly charged me for replacing it.

The HV battery is fully covered under the warranty. The PTC heater for the battery was not.

You posted this month ago, but I found this YouTube video on how to do the CCS retrofit. You are a brave soul--it looks complicated! He says to download the update (but NOT install it) before you go thru the retrofit process. Could that be the issue?

Torklift has fantastic customer service--they referred me to a guy who'll install the hitch at my house! The only thing I'm a bit nervous about is that a slot has to be cut out of the inside of the bumper to accommodate the hitch receiver. Modifications to the OEM usually affect resale value.
