Group Buy Poll for Mono-Block Forged Alloy Wheels by Titan

Another vote for 19x9" square, with 30 offset! Though this isn't an option in either poll?!? slightly more grip than stock, while not sacrificing too much range 30 offset provides 10mm/.4in more track width square, so easy tire rotation good selection of tires in this size My concern is 9.5...

Who has driven LR and P or D?

I had a M3 LR RWD for close to 3 months before I sold it in favor if a M3P. I picked up the P today and my initial impression is that it's significantly faster, but also feels as if it's got heavier steering. For sure, it's a heavier car, but the turn in also requires more effort. It's still...

Some details about upcoming Track Mode in recent MKBHD interview

Thank you for making my point. Where's the logic in paying $5K for P+ suspension and brakes, then removing it to put on something better? These are easy upgrades, for less than $5K, unlike cams, blowers, etc.

    Arg... PUP or no PUP

Those telling you to stay with 20s don't drive on roads like you do in NY (I see SoCal and LA). Even if you decide you want to race it at the track, you wouldn't want to use 20", though they look cool. There's lots of other threads about all this. I sold my RWD and bought P-. IMO, the diff...

Some details about upcoming Track Mode in recent MKBHD interview

When these P cars finally hit the track, it won't be the P+ cars that are smoking the P- cars. It'll be the modified P- cars that are circling the P+. And they won't be on 20" wheels either.

Some details about upcoming Track Mode in recent MKBHD interview

BS. P- paid to play too. $10K, in fact over reg DM. At the time I ordered, there was no mention of bigger brakes, only "red" coloring. All the nancy's had to have red color. Me? I wasn't gonna pay $5K for cosmetics. Turns out, there was a diff, but too late for those of us who thought we...

    The Performance Upgrade Package Question

Of course someone with a P3D+ could put aftermarket bits on their car, but why pay $5K for Tesla performance parts only to pull them off and replace with other performance parts? Same is true with BMW. The fastest M3 cars came as Base, then were built up with better track parts. Tesla sees...

    The Performance Upgrade Package Question

My point is that Tesla won’t limit it to P3D+, beacause that’s not the guys who will be spanking BMW M3s at the track. Instead, it’ll be the guys who put aftermarket bits on their P3D-s ala Mountain Pass who get the highest performance. Tesla knows this. Look at all the favorable press they got...

    The Performance Upgrade Package Question

True, but the very SERIOUS enthusiasts aren’t going to take to the track with the PUP. Instead they’ll upgrade brakes, suspension, rotors, etc. Tesla won’t be stupid enough to handicap this group w/o Track Mode as they go up against BMW. In the end, Tesla wants to see M3s beating ICE M3s and it...

    The Performance Upgrade Package Question

I'm taking delivery of my non PUP. After long deliberations, I decided to go with non PUP. Reasons: I live in the pot hole ridden midwest and lose a wheel or two every winter. I def want to run 18" in winter. I'm upgrading from my RWD M3 that had 19" wheels I kept and will use those in...
