Replacement male connector for speaker under dash

I had a tech change my cabin air filter and he said the tech prior to him must have cut the male end that plugs into this speaker that’s under the glove compartment. He said I needed to take it to tesla to get it fixed. He didn’t tell me a part number, give me any picture or basically anything I...

Hope backseat is wide enough for a futon

Would love a cyber truck where the back seat folds down into a futon that two can sleep on. Then just add a pop up shower/bathroom setup in the bed and it would be great if backcountry roads/adventure

Stuck in deliberation, Offset for 255/35/20 tires for standard gray calipers?

I've been combing through the sub's trying too find some answers on offsets. I'm looking to buy some 20x9's to put on my 2018 stealth P3D (with UPP mild springs). I have the standard gray calipers. I believe +35 would fit but it might poke more than I want. Will +38 work with 255/35/20's or...

    Creaky suspension after lowering springs

Installed some UP mild springs a few months ago. Very happy with them. They look great and have buffered the front to rear endless resonance I would get on some sections of hwy. However, now when I turn my wheels to the final 20% left of right before they lock I hear creaking of suspension...

Tires and Performance on the street

Not the most scientific method, but I was researching some things and came across Car and Driver specs on the model 3's with different tire options. This gives you and idea of the change from 235 Primacy MXM4 all-season's to 235 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I attribute deltas 100% to tire compound...

Best for the street; wider tires on Aeros, 19 in Titan 7's, or 19 in Advan RGIII wheels?

Looking to improve the performance of my vehicle. I have a stock P3D-. I'm not a fan of the tires. I want to decrease the braking distance and increase the brake pedal feel (it feels dead compared to the accelerator). This has led me first to tires, then look into brake improvements such as...

OEM aeros with 255/40/18 PS4s tires

Anyone running 255/40/18 Michelin PS4s tires on the stock aeros? I know 245s fit but an wondering if 255s will clear or require spacers. My bmw came with OEM 255 PSS tires on 8.5 in rims so I know I like the look and ride of 255s on 8.5 in wide rims but Im not sure how they clear.

Tire penalty on P3D Lateral G rating?

How much is tesla hamstringing itself without proper wheels and tires on the P3D? If it had come with forged wheel and say 265 Pilot Sport Cup tires (more in line with other 11 second cars) what could we expect in a lateral G rating that’s often published in auto media? Does the lack of a...

    Widebody kit

Doesn't look too bad. Can't see myself driving it but would love to see what someone can do on the track with tires like that in a track compound. Probably over kill on the tired though. Range would be a joke, and the doors would get chewed up from road debris.

Trade in values for performance model 3?

Anyone get trade in estimates for the P3D? I have a P3D- and am fighting a DV claim. Carmax offered me $47k at 5000 miles and 5 maths of age.

    SouthBay/LA ceramic coating recommendations

Looking for recommendations for ceramic coating application in the South Bay/LA area. Please list prices too. The car was just compouned twice by tesla to remove delivery water spots and it looks stunning. Would like to get a ceramic coating to lock it in, the sooner the better as the paint...

245 Pilot 4s on OEM aero wheels

Has anyone tried putting 245 pilot 4s tires on the OEM area wheels? Tire rack recommends 245 (not 235) on the the 8.5 inch wheels. Should provide a much better driving experience and may help with curb rash.
