That's an interesting take. That could very well be the case. Or Tesla is banking on a major future announcement of cumulative stations that could create mind-blown positive media coverage. As of right now, the only direct competition with a "Supercharger" like station in mass is VW's...

Physics. Did you not have an ICE before your P3D? Even the changeover at gas stations to winter fuel is less efficient with constant temp.

That ^ Try solely using your seat warmer with a jacket on to see how much more your efficiency climbs.

I can't bring myself to read 16 pages... Regarding the title of this thread: It's this simple... You are driving your P3D wrong if you're looking to get the full 310 miles out of it. You just are. Every "Performance" vehicle has an EPA rating, but it's more of a "the best case scenario" rating...

I'm the guy who has trained his entire life just to confront jerks, and I have this exact tow strap in the frunk of my P3D. I'm looking very much forward to using it :)

So people just use it without calling? I was actually thinking about doing the same and installing this charger outside... Does anyone know if that will hold up to outdoor elements?
