My main deterrent to using the pin to drive is I feel like it would be a pain if you ever need someone else to drive your car, like a valet, car cleaning etc. You either have to remember go in and turn it off each time, or give them the pin.

Pretty sure it’s intentional that the new AP is like this. They’ve moved a number of EAP features over to FSD to give FSD some immediate value and stripped back EAP to just basic ‘AP’.

I just got the $2k AP and that’s what mine does. Put the signal on and it disengages autostwer but keeps TACC on so you can change lanes. You then have to turn AP back on once lane change is complete or it’ll just stay on TACC.

I guess my point is not really about paying more (although maybe it is), it's that based on their pricing approach, I feel like the the tax credit is only really of benefit to Tesla and not the buyer.

There was another thread where someone was able to purchase a white dash separately for something like $230 from Tesla so I don't see why you couldn't purchase the black one. You might have to wait until more have gone into production but it's worth asking around if that's what you really want.

I think this looks more like color transfer, causing the seats to look cracked due to the deeper crevices in the seat not receiving the color transfer. Cleaning the seats should remove the extra color and the appearance of 'cracks'.

So I got the free supercharging during the California wildfires. But it looks like I never got switched back to being charged (yet at least). My account still says 'Free Unlimited Supercharging' and I haven't been charged for a supercharge since October last year. Is it just me or did they not...

My apologies, I stand corrected. I just checked my invoice and turns out I have 50% on the windshield. I do have the side windows tinted as well which does make the cabin overall darker and cooler. Didn't tint the back window because I didn't feel the need.

I got 15% back, 35% front and 50% on windshield.

I only got the sides done and happy with that. Because the rear window is quite high up and there's less visibility that some cars anyway, I really don't find it an issue to not have it tinted.
