Don't want to burst your bubbles, just help set expectations. My paperwork was delivered the day before my first scheduled delivery date (8/25), I was rescheduled twice after that.

Just got off the phone w/ my IDA related to some paperwork questions, so I took the opportunity to ask about the status of my car and was told it arrived at the SC this morning and they offered to move my delivery date from Sat to Fri, but driving into Dallas at 5p doesn't sound ideal so unless...

VIN numbers are not assigned sequentially. So they have no actual bearing on the manufacture date.

The $5K package w/ the 20" rims, upgraded brakes, ect. (The package they later said would be required for Track Mode)

Called just after lunch today to confirm my delivery appointment for tomorrow and was told my car is still "in DFW" and won't be at the SC in time for my delivery. Pushed out another week with "but, if we get it sooner we'll call and re-schedule for an earlier delivery." so... we'll see :-/

Went and searched and found the sign up email, never even noticed it had a pw in it. Thanks.

How are you seeing information like this about your VIN? Is it on the Delivery Receipts - United Road page, or is there another page I should be searching? Thanks in advance.

The VIN doesn't show up until within a week of your delivery date. If your delivery date is pushed out more than a week it will dissapper and then come back when you're a week out again. If you have a purchase agreement (check under Documents at the bottom on the right) it will have a VIN within it.

Wooooot! Is home delivery going to become an option or is this because you had so much of an issue that they made an exception?

So... we just need to get our IDAs to cancel all our orders and place new ones? :( /s

Yay, glad to hear the good news! When I was catching up on this thread there was so much good news, and then I ran into your delayed thread and got bummed again.

Also, just got an email from my lender confirming the auto-draft of my first payment :-/

Man, this thread is a roller coaster. I emailed my IDA 5 days ago, no response. Sent another email yesterday asking for an update/confirmation of my delivery date on Sat, got a very vague 'I'll let you know' response. -_-

I've been stalking this thread for a while, but now that I created an account over here I guess I'll join in the discussion. A quick about me as it relates to this thread: Fully funded on 8/13, delivery scheduled 8/25, car only shows as in Northrop on United Road site, next scheduled delivery...
